Bellatrix is such a boss! A crazy crazy insane boss! And Dobby died because he droped a chandelier on the poor woman. I'd be mad too if someone dripped a chandelier on me!

If someone tried to drop a chandelier on me I'd be pretty angry but I wouldn't throw a cuchillo at them.

Yes, she's evil. Though I don't think she was aiming for Dobby specifically. I mean out of all of the characters who escaped Malfoy Manor, to Bella, Dobby would have been the least important. I think Bella hoped to hit one of the trio.
I guess Dobby was the one who died because out of everyone who escaped, he was the one JK did not need anymore to drive the plot of the story. Plus just like Fred's, Lupin's, Tonk's, Cedric's, etc deaths, it helps to mostrar us how terrible and unfair war really is. People die in wars, innocent people, good people and people we care about.
People need to die in order to have a war based realistically. It was to mostrar that death was a part of life. J.K made Dobby's death honorable, so it wasn't just a heartless act.
As a Bellatrix fan I don't think she's dissing her (if she was you'd know, I'm kind of known for going off on people for insulting Bellatrix :P) she was calling her an evil witch, which she is. She is a witch, and she is on the bad side.

Didn't Lucius Malfoy tell Harry he'd pay for losing the Malfoys their servant? And, voila! Dobby, whom Harry actually liked, dies. And Bellatrix is a few inches short of a wand, so, yeah. At least we know her surname gives us an accurate look at her personality.
First of all this is Bellatrix we're talking about .. HP's most crazy witch ! How would tu expect her to act if a filthy elf that once was her servant dropped a chandelier on her .. ha ? If I were in her place killing him por throwing a cuchillo wouldn't satisfy my anger
segundo .. answering why did "Dobey" have to die .. well JKR didn't want Harry to know who sent Dobby to rescue him and his friends from Malfoy's manor .. so he had to die and Bellatrix was the best convincing way to kill him
