I'd say "two or more" but, honestly, I don't use google for that reason: the search results that I want are always on the third or fourth page, and that's too slow for me. I go with altavista, myself.

Altavista uses Yahoo's index. Yahoo uses it to experiment with its algorithm and wit the presentation of search results.

Usually one but sometimes more. It matters what I'm searching and do I search English or Finnish pages.

It depends on what I'm searching for, if I'm doing it for something for school I like to first search for some general information and then for something I see there, to get more info on it or double check some things with another search
but if I'm just looking for something that's not really important i mostly just need 1 search.
