Do tu believe everything in the Bible?

Okay at church we were discussing homosexual issues and thses girls were for it. So our youth leader showed them verses explaining how homosexuality is wrong. Then when we showed them they dicho well what if we don't want to believe EVERYTHING in the Bible. So our leader told them they can't pick and choose. Like tu can't pick and choose to believe honor your father and mother. tu either obey it o tu don't.

So what about you? Do tu believe everything in the Bible o do tu just pick and choose? Just curious

I personally don't agree with o believe a majority of the Bible. I do find parts of it interesting though, whether it be the stories told o its notice on human behavior.

Then again, I no longer consider myself Christian. I agree with what your leader dicho though- tu can't pick and choose, and that's something that a lot of Christians do, they pick what they want to follow and believe, and ignore the rest. If you're going to argue with what's "wrong" and "right" in the Bible, explain all of it, not just certain bits. My stepmother does that, picks what she wants- we were also discussing homosexuality, and she dicho that it says that it's "wrong," but she'll amor the sinner and hate the sin. I mentioned to her that the Bible also states that women are to be silent and lesser than man, tu cannot eat shellfish, can't touch pigskin, etc. She responded with "somethings can be looked over" -even though the Bible also says that all sins are equal.

..So, like I said, your teacher is right. If you're going to preach from the Bible on what's moral o not, follow it all the way through.

Well, the más I read and the más I thought about certain things said, the más I disliked and disbelieved in it.

I believe everything that is in His Word. It's never been disproven (nor will it ever be). ^^^^U also got to consider that, a lot of the stuff mentioned are from the Old Testament. Yes the Old Testament is important, & good for us morality-wise. It's not to be tossed aside. But, the Old Testament had things led por man's law too, even if God were in the picture o not. They had offerings of blood sacrificed, which didn't always please God. That's where jesús takes the place. He shed His Blood for all of us sinners, even the ones who don't believe in Him o not, thus giving us freewill, & an everlasting covenant. He's The Living God. Homosexuality is shown to be a choice, & wrong in Scripture (Old & New Testaments), just like all other sins are choices/giving in type scenarios too. The Lord=The Way, The Truth And The Life. <3 <3

Of course, there's no reason why I wouldn't believe everything in the Bible. It's the Lord's Living Word. Those girls aren't very bright if they think that they can get away with being homosexual. The Lord sees everything they do, whether gay o not.

Course not! Do tu really believe Jonah could survive in a while for three days and three nights? That's pretty much all that bugs me apart from the fact that the bible is really screwed up with the fact that Lucifer was the bad guy. I pity Lucifer even though I shouldn't. Lucifer knows I pity everyone…sometime…

No as the bible is made up of many different texts, the Torah, Koran ect. The christian bible was edited and a lot of texts left out and some re-worded. In Genesis it says "Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness" ect when tu look at it it shows that there where más than one and not just God alone, it goes on to say "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them". Again meaning más than one, it also says "God blessed them and dicho to them:Be fruitful and increase in number" and all this was before God took a rib from Adam to make Eve so who was the other woman?, was it Lilith? The Archangle Samael did not approve of God making man in his own image and rebelled and was throwen out of heaven with 200 others, Christians renamed him in the bible as Satan o Lusicufer, so was he wrong to dissaprove of Gods plans? after all God ended up destorying all he had created por a flood excpet for Noah and his family. To me these two things in the bible mostrar me that God is not all powerful and wise as he made mistakes. The old testement is full of blood sacarfices, husbands sleeping with their wifes maidservents to have children as they could not have any, one even dressed up as a prostitue as she was related to him and did not want him to know who she was, all aproved por God excpet Homosexuality which is why Sodom was destroyed.
