GAME OF THRONES autor GEORGE R.R. MARTIN WILL SIGN libros AND RECEIVE AN AWARD AT HWA AWARDS DINNER
NEWPORT, R.I., August 29, 2017—A Game of Thrones autor George R.R. Martin will sign libros and receive an award at the Historical Writers of America's annual conference at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in Santa Ana Pueblo.
Santa Fe autor Melinda Snodgrass-—a estrella Trek screenwriter and executive producer on Martin's new Wild Cards TV series—will speak at the Sept. 21-24 event. Snodgrass and Martin will sign libros on Saturday, along with 20 other authors.
Eight New York and California agents will listen to book pitches from aspiring writers. Full-day escritura workshops will also be taught por New York agent Jeff Kleinman, Writer’s Digest autor Larry Brooks and historical novelist Chris C.C. Humphreys. The conference includes 40 history and craft classes on everything from wild west women to tips on how to create believable characters. Snodgrass will teach a screenwriting class.
Bestselling Texas romance autor Parris Bonds and New England historical writer Jodi Daynard will also speak. Bonds helped start the Romance Writers of America. Daynard taught escritura at MIT and Harvard.
