In fact, I had escargot today (in light of the picture). My recent craving has been pork pate though.

I do try more exotic foods though, especially while traveling. I cannot stand escargot. Ewwwww. I spit it out the first time I tried it.

I'm extremely fussy eater. I even hate pasta D: i like my meats plain thank you :)

But what I consider basics, others might find exotic.

No such think as basics. I know you mean American food when you say that (pizza, burritos, burgers, etc.). Basic for me would be Brazilian. I can't stand exotic foods. They smell. I can't eat them, I've tried.

i like trying new things

I really like trying new foods. But I have my limits, I must admit. I can't eat things that still kinda look alive (like octopus) or that look at me (as in a whole fish with eyes etc.). As you can see I'm not a fan of fish and seafood. But other than that I'll try almost anything. If I don't like then at least I can say I tried.

Blah I hate trying new things, especially FOOD! I'm such a picky eater, I would rather stick to the stuff I know and love.

Hmmm.....I guess in general I stick to MY basics, but I am willing to try exotic things if they don't sound too distasteful to me! xD
