Okay, I've been lectura artículos about this, and Lacey wrote this about a girl named Cassie Bernall, a victim of the Columbine High School massacre in 1999. Two boys Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold pointed a gun at Cassie, asking her if she believed in God. When she said,"Yes, I believe." they shot her dead. She was only seventeen years old. At first, I thought this song was about suicide about an outcast o a person that doesn't believe that is pressured into taking their own life in order to prove a point. No. It's about an innocent, very religious high school girl being shot por two insane delinquents. I read that she was hiding under a mesa, tabla and one of the shooters yelled "Peek-a-boo!" and shot her under the table... There was also Rachel, but all I know is that she got shot twice but I don't know if she survived.
