The group waited for what seemed like hours, although it has only been thirty minutes, Hannah expected SOMETHING to happen, thus far, no sign of The Kid, nor were any of his colleagues in sight.
"Lilly, give me a status report-" dicho Hannah, being cut off with great haste.
"Nothing there, just bankers," yawned Lilly with boredom.
Hannah cut out the transmission once más and sighed heavily.
"God damn this criminal.." she grunted.
"Hannah, relax, whatever it has to be, we need to be on our toes at all times, we cannot afford another ambush like last time, we NEED to turn him in, even if it takes all the time in the world," dicho Skipper.
"That's right, and if we catch him, por all means, you'll sleep well, without needing to glance past your shoulder," dicho Kowalski.
"Thanks guys, but what if we miscalculated, what if we looked at the wrong bank?" asked Hannah.
"Rest assured, we narrowed it down to the most obvious target: It's a well-managed and popular bank, and bears the same name as the animal in the riddle, there should be no reason this is not where he intended to strike," dicho Skipper.
"That's a good point I guess, let's keep looking!" dicho Hannah with renewed hope.
Private's eyes widened, and he looked to the back corner, tugging at Hannah's flipper repeatedly.
"H-Hannah... There's people coming, they don't look friendly..." stuttered Private, picking up his mallet.
Lilly soon sat up and noticed the intruders as well, they all looked familiar.
"Hannah, come in Hannah, come in!!" shouted Lilly into her headset.
"What is it Lilly? Private's panicked, do tu see something?" asked Hannah, cargando... her pistol.
"Yes, mob members, I wouldn't be surprised if they were covering for The Kid o doing his dirty work," dicho Lilly.
The penguins outside soon walked in, shades and fedoras put on, they carried their suitcases and walked up to the booth.
"Hey!! Stop there!!" shouted Hannah, aiming her pistol at the penguins.
The mobsters soon aimed and fired, hitting Hannah repeatedly until she fell to the ground. However, hitting only her vest, she was perfectly safe, and soon shot at the penguins, killing three and leaving four alive. Skipper and Kowalski, having hid behind the counter, aimed their pistols at the "mafioso penguins".
"Guess game's over isn't it boys?" asked Skipper with a smile.
The tallest of the four soon spoke.
"Now hang on, we only wanted money, we're just following orders, okay? We never wanted to kill anyone else, only as a final measure my good sir, our mob makes damn sure of that," he said.
"Then who's the guy that told tu that credo?" asked Hannah.
"I ain't spillin' shit little lady," he growled.
The segundo tallest, a pingüino, pingüino de with a fedora riddled with bullet holes spoke.
"Sacco, it ain't worth her time, just tell her who the head honcho is, cause I'm fucking sure he would be courageous enough to let the people know who's their boss, am I right?" he asked.
"Fine...." growled Sacco.
He wrote on a paper, drawing a circulo, círculo with a dotted line running through it, then around the circulo, círculo drew rounded off shapes and drew a square in the center of the circulo, círculo with a cross, finally, he added the tip of an arrow on the parte superior, arriba of the dotted line near the cross.
"Find K.D." dicho Sacco.
"What's K.D.?" asked Skipper.
"That's all I'm telling you," dicho Sacco.
"Sacco!" shouted the second.
"Gidson, we can't speak más of it, your own friends would kill us just to spill information," dicho Sacco.
"Fine.." dicho Gidson, pulling back his Tommy gun.
"You do realize all four of tu are under arrest for attempted theft right?" asked Hannah.
"It's okay, we've been convicted of god knows how many más crimes than that, I'm surprised we could even still pass for parole," dicho Sacco with a grin.
"Oh, and do tell your friends over there they ain't taking us today o any other day," dicho Gidson, holding up a small sphere and pressing a button on it.
The ensuing explosion soon scattered noxious gasses into the bank, anyone still there had scattered and ran around for an exit as Hannah and the boys coughed and wheezed, attempting to regain focus as the four mobsters seemed to have disappeared almost as quickly as they appeared. After the smoke cleared, Hannah, the boys, and the remaining bankers got onto their feet, confused and wondering.
"Where the hell did they go? And who, o what, is K.D?" asked Hannah, looking at their descriptive paper.
