very annoying

ads maybe necessary but there is a fine line between over saturation and minimum advertising. More the ad the more you ignore it, therefore it has a negative effect and makes you noooooot want to see the movie.

they're necessary for fanpop to get money. it's not like i like them, it's just that i like fanpop a lot.

OMG who cares you guys? How else do you expect Fanpop to get money to actually keep the site up and running for us?! It's not like they have a different background every day, I'm sure it will be gone tomorrow after the movie is already in theaters for a day. Besides, I like it. It's a nice change from the plain white which I hate.

They've done this a lot, I can't see it myself because I live outside the US but it hasn't bothered me that much, Fanpop needs to make money so for one day they make new backgrounds.

they make the site very ugly and hard to look at
they also make the site run slowly on my computer
