Some trofeos are still dado out. I received two new article-writing trofeos recently, and I believe that the trofeos for fanning people, number of years of membership etc are still being handed out (but I haven't gotten any recently myself). I'm not sure about the misceláneo ones. I think the holiday ones have been stopped.
From what I understand, new trofeos are no longer being added to the site, but the ones that had already been made are still intact and can be earned as per usual.
For example, tu can still earn trofeos for adding new friends, submitting articles, and being a member of fanpop for a certain amount of time, but holiday trofeos are no longer dado out to those who log in on special days of the year.

I thought the articulo trofeos were a reciente addition. I received my 10-articles gorra, cap about a mes ago, even though I'd written 10 artículos over a año previously.
Yeah, I think they came much later than the others. They might have been around for a año o so? I'm not sure who made them (if it was the same artist who made the old caps) but I don't think any más have been added to the site since.
