I looked up from sleeping as i heard the pack leader's voice from outside. "Come on Shadow, tu can't sleep all day!" I got up and called back. "I'm coming Lightning!" It's been two moons since me, Spot, and Shine were made into lobos in training. Their mentors were hard on them, but they kept saying i was lucky. Lightning would always try to go easy on me, but gets mad when i don't listen. I now ran out to meet Lightning. "What are we doing today?" I asked excitedly. He nodded at two lobos waiting at the camp entrance. "We are going on a hunting party to see how well tu can do." He explained. "Ok" i dicho excitedly and followed him to the entrance. The ginger lobo know as blossom told me how to find prey, and a blue-gray lobo called flash showed me how to stalk it. I shot out with Lightning and we caught two elks. Lightning looked proud. "Very good Shadow, your learning quick." He said. I look up happily with my prey and drag it back with the others. Spot glanced up from talking with a red tom with green eyes and saw my catch. "Wow!" she dicho as she raced over. "That's huge Shadow!" I snorted in amusement. "Thanks sis." i dicho quietly. "Where is our brother?" Spot nodded at where he was talking with his mentor. "Oh." i blinked and grab part of the elk. "You want to share it?" I ask her. My sister shakes her head and races over to the red tom that i saw her talking to earlier. "Who is that?" i growl quietly. "That is bone, a warrior of this pack." Lightning's voice came and he walked away. "Look who's back." came a sneering voice i recognized.
Shard walked over with cold eyes. "Hello Shard." i muttered. "What's your problem?" hr growled as he grabbed part of an elk and padded away. I followed him to the lobos in training den. After finishing the elk, i talked with Shine and Spot. Then that's when everything went wrong.
