Does anyone know why Fairy Tail stopped at episode 175 and when will it resume?

I heard that Fairy Tail will be continuing:

1. sometime in November,2013.

2. o maybe in March,2014.

Also I heard from different sources that Fairy Tail stopped because:

1. the anime was catching up to the manga so they had to take a break from the anime

2. the voice actress for Lucy is in some sort of scandal o something like that

3. some people think that maybe the ratings drop so the mostrar was cut and the manga continued like what happened to Bleach (which I find very hard to believe)
