Isn't college a university?

well here in the uk, it is a separate thing. college is for students aged from 18 onwards, whilst in the US i am assuming it is 21, right?

School is manditory and everyone there is obligated to go there and dont appreciate the58 true gift of knowledge, so i prefer The University where people go if they want to learn

waichingliu81- Here in the US, college and university are basically the same thing. The only real difference is that a university is bigger in size; however, a student who attends a university would still say, "I go to college." The average age of a college student ranges from 18-22, though there many college students who are older (and even some who are younger). Anything beyond a four-year college is referred to as post-graduate studies (grad school, law school, med school, etc.).

As for the pick itself, I prefer college for the same reasons that Emma01 stated.

Loved my time at university :)

School was pretty rough for me, but I loved both college and uni (I'm from the UK so they are different things to me!). It's close between those two, but I think I liked university just a little bit more.
