Slowly I trudge through the pine forest. The scents swirl around me in perfect harmony. My boots step lightly on the needles and twing barely making a sound. "Micah! Not cool!" Micah giggles and steps off and I stagger to my feet. Sonomi hands my the eagle and whispers "He's pretty!" I smile "Yeah, he's a beuty!" Then I pluck one of the brown and white feathers and place it in his hand. He stares at my wide eyed and then tugs on Micah as they wave goodbye and frolic off to the fence again. I can't bare to watch them go, Sonomi who's shorts are caked with mud and all his ribs stick out sickiningly and Micah, who's raggy jeans and old tee wrinkle with age and they stick there skinny arms through the chain linc hoping for a penny o two. before I can think about it anymore a claw grasps my leg and I'm suddenly dragged down a dark hole. I struggle as the dirt slides away from me, a rock hits my head and everything goes black.
