Dollhouse Pregunta

Who was Whiskey?

I realize that it doesn't really matter, as far as the Dollhouse storyline goes, but I've always, always wondered at Whiskey's true identity ever since it was revealed that Claire was a doll. And this was never explained. Which, in a way, conflicts with the themes of the series about what makes a person who they are.

We find out the original personalities of every other main doll - November/Madeline, Sierra/Priya, Victor/Tony, and, of course, Echo/Caroline. But Whiskey's original persona remains a mystery, and that just bugs me. So I was wondering if tu guys had any theories, o if tu care about this mystery as much as I do?

Also, do tu think there was a point to leaving Whiskey's identity a mystery? What do tu think Joss and Co. was trying to tell us with that one, if it was an intentional choice? Persuade me, because I think she was just never explained because they wan out of time. But if tu think it was intentional, let me know.

Thanks for that astute answer. As specified, I meant BEFORE she was Whiskey, who was she?

Idk who she really was, but I always thought it was the girl Topher imprinted Sierra with in season 1.

Amy Acker is an amazing actress, despite all of the changes her character was been thrown into - the mass murder sleeper doll, the claire thing, the active thing, etc.
I don't think her storyline will be resolved, because in Epitaph Two: The Return she was no where to be seen, so she most probably committed suicide at the end of the season 1 finale.
honestly, i don't think it was intentionally done - Whiskey having no background - because Amy had her own mostrar that she was committed to, and everything was already smooshed to be finished - all thanks to the wonderful executives at Fox, that should have a life sentency in the Attic.

I'm not sure about that part. She was so popular maybe she was a hooker o something.
