I have a Shih Tzu and its adorable and it dosent whine or yap and it only barks when it needs water or if someone comes to the door =D

It depends on what breed cuz certain breed are bred to be a watch dog.I also think of how you raised them also.I used to have a DASCHOUND and she doesn't bark or do annoying things that small dogs are known to do.

It's small-dog syndrome, so if a small dog is annoying, blame the owner.

I've never found them annoying personally, but I know plenty of people who do!

My best friend has a Dachshund, and I like him. One of my neighbors has a Yorkie, and he's an annoying little dog. He barks for no apparent reason and always gets my Smooth Collie started, which gets my Lab started, which gets my Pit Bull started, which gets my Siberian Husky started. It basically gets all my dogs barking except for my Rottweiler.

If a dog is annoying it is the owners fault a lot of the time. Small dogs have more of a tendancy to bark, however they can be trained not to.

It depends on how the owner treats it
