In doctor who series 5 'the big bang' how does the doctor get outside the pandorica too use the time travel thingy in the first place in order to give rory the sonic screwdriver?

He used his vortex manipulator to go back in time
(Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey)and then he gave Rory the sonic screwdriver.

He doesn't get out of the box. In the museum he uses the vortex manipulator to go back in time and give Rory the screwdriver. This concequently means that Rory then goes and lets him out of the box. Basically, it's all wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.

I've asked the same pregunta before and trying to think of an answer makes my brain hurt. In short, it's impossible. Steven Moffatt wrote in a few lines of nonsense about all of it being the eye of the storm of the universe ending, thus anything is possible, but it doesn't make any real sense. Furthermore, if the sonic destornillador could have opened the pandorica it would have been opened in part one without all of the trouble of waiting for it to open itself.
Also, during Russell Davies years, no person could touch their past self without fear of destroying the universe. Steven Moffatt ignores this rule and has Amy touching Amelia, the doctor touching himself, and even in the navidad Special, the scrooge-esque character hugging himself. Again, each time is explained with timey wimey mumbo jumbo. Luckily, the episodes are still easily enjoyable.
