What happened to Susan, Doctor's granddaugter?

The 9th & 10th mentioned, that he is the last Time Lord survived. He sais his whole family is dead.
Did we get to know what happend to Susan?
Is she dead too? If yes, can anyone tell me how/why she died?

Ok, Susan...
Susan was referred to as the Doctor's Granddaughter and was around from the very very first episode of doctor up until "The Dalek Invasion Of Earth" where the daleks invade the earth in the año 2000 and kill almost everyone. At the end of this episode, Susan is locked out of the TARDIS por the Doctor, because she is in amor with a human, and the Doctor doesn't want her to pick to keep travelling with him since it was obviously her time to leave him. She presumably marries him and re-populates the world.

After this time, she is mentioned from time to time, but as for exactly what happens to her from there on, nothing is clearly stated. It is also not sure whether she is actually a time lord, with the common belief being that she is not.

I thought that was her in The End of Time, the Time Lord woman who appeared to Wilf and stood against Rassilon's descision with her hands over her eyes.

Now, granted, I have no proof... It just seemed right to think that that was Susan.

Makes sense. Kind of. Wouldn't the Doctor's mum be dead por that point, being supposedly human and all?

Susan got lost and was presumably killed, so the doctor brings women with him to fill his broken heart.

I think that this is another paradox. Susan was left on earth in the año 2000 after an invasion of earth por the daleks. In the present timeline, it appears that event never happened. So Susan could be alive in an alternative timeline. Whether she is a Time Lord, who Knows. In the Doctor Who movie, the Doctor claimed to be half human. We know nothing of Susan's parents. If they were both Timelords, then there is a chance Susan was also. If as the Doctor's parents, Susan's were from mixed races, then she would probably be mostly human.

The Doctor left her with some guy because he realized she was grown up and he was holding her back. She didn't die!

Susan traveled with the doctor until the episode " The Dalek Invasion of Earth" where she falls in amor with a 22th century freedom fighter, Damian. The Doctor realises that Susan needs to make her own path and has a teary goodbye to her. Susan reprises her role in the "Five Doctors" and "Dimensions in Time" there is no mention of what happened to her and Daimian after this. She is not heard of again and the Doctor is unsure of her whereabouts. Though when the time war starts all Time Lords/Ladies are called to battle so it is to be expected she fought in the time war and died.

Wait, wait! Susan appears in Doctor Who's 1993 special, Dimensions of Time (same actress, but older), interacting with several other Doctors of that time. We see she's really Susan, when she says to the 6th Doctor: "But where is Grandfather, my Doctor?"

This is what's known as a major continuity error por the writers. There was a radio play where the 8th doctor has susan and her family over for a meal (I won't spoil the interesting bits for those that haven't heard it). several points were raised in this thread already, which I would like to answer. The film made a continuity error saying that the doctor was half human. It is unlikely that Susan is anything less than 100% timelord, as there is footage of her fleeing with the original doctor from galafrey. Her son (the doctors great grandson) however would be half timelord half human. Susan should be able to regenerate.
So, 2 possibilities present themselves:
1) The doctor has left her to her life in the alternate timeline (or an adjusted version of the timeline).
2) She may have returned to galafrey with o without her family and been caught in the timewar.

2 seems más likely as the 10th doctor mentioned that he "had a family once".

I would prefer to think that susan is alive and well and possibly regenerated due to age taking its toll and is out there somewhere in time and space.

The Doctor also had Ace/Dorothy taught on Gallifrey (books) so... having his granddaughter on Gallifrey before exile does not make her automatically 100% timelord.

The first Doctor left her on earth so she could grow up and live a normal life and have a family; Because the actress got another job.
But she did return to work with two other doctor's, one (I think) was the 5th.
