If we could watch Disney movies all day, we would. And we have. However, there are some moments in life that call for, nay, demand that a Disney movie be watched immediately. We have compiled a list of those moments, and are sharing them here so that you too can benefit from a little Disney magic:

When we were kids, the best part of staying home sick from school was being able to watch all of our favorite Disney movies. As we grow up, that does not need to change. We think laughter, Disney magic, and a spoonful of sugar are the best medicine. (Also actual medicine is good too.)

You’re stuck at the airport. Your flight has been delayed for what feels like days. You’ve already sampled food from every possible location in the terminal. You purchased things you didn’t need from the gift store. There’s nothing else to do now but to find a cozy spot, set up your laptop or tablet, and watch your favorite Disney movie. Suddenly what was a potentially long wait turns into a delightful movie viewing experience.

Some days you just win at life. You’ve gotten everything done that you needed to do in a timely manner, and you did it well. You seized the day. Nothing else to do now but to watch your favorite Disney movie to reward yourself, and make a great day even better.

You’ve got the perfect outfit ready to go. Why not watch the perfect Disney movie while you get ready? There’s nothing like classic Disney romance, humor, and even awkward moments to prepare you for the magical date night ahead.

We all forget where we placed things. It’s especially frustrating to lose your keys because that often means you’re stuck and can’t go anywhere. Instead of giving into the frustration, take a few deep breaths and watch a Disney movie. Chances are, while you’re singing along to your favorite part, like magic you’ll suddenly remember where you put your keys and you’ll be off to the next adventure in no time.

Sometimes it’s hard to get on the same page as your sibling. When you can’t seem to come to an agreement, why not throw on a Disney movie? By the time the movie is over, you’ll remember that your bond as siblings (and your love for Disney) far outweighs your disagreement.

7. When a new baby is born into your family.

When a new baby comes into the world, the only thing to do is to gather your Disney movie collection. If you’re like us, this will take approximately one second because we always make sure these movies are within reach. Once you’ve done that, you can then watch your favorite Disney movie while making a detailed list of the order in which you will introduce the new baby to all things Disney.

This is a time for celebration. Putting on your favorite Disney movie and jumping up and down is obviously what needs to happen.

We all have times when we need a reminder that we can achieve our dreams. Think of the Disney movie that inspires you the most and press play. By the end of the movie, you’ll be ready to get back out there and make that wish come true!
