Non-fans took to twitter and other social media outlets to comentario on Demi’s weight saying she was looking “chunky"! This is crazy, because everyone knows that Demi had an eating disorder and that she looks normal now.
Demi took matters into her own hands to respond to haters. Demi tweeted, “I’ve gained weight. Get over it. That’s what happens when tu get out of treatment for AN EATING DISORDER.”
Demi quickly deleted that post and then posted, “Guess what, I’m healthy and happy, and if you’re hating on my weight tu obviously aren’t. :)”
Then, true fans came to the rescue! Demi’s fans defended her beauty por getting her trending with phrases like “Demi Lovato is Stunning” for over 9 hours!
The Twitter mostrar down was so big that ABC News featured the story on the morning news, mostrando a wonderfully positive take on it and praising Demi for sticking up for herself and being a great role model!
Demi thanked her fans for all their support saying, “God I amor tu guys.. Thank you. Don’t know what I did to deserve tu all… But wow.. I amor tu all.”
