He is a genius, even if sometimes he has strange... ideas. But everything he did, was perfect.
Well he killed a little more then he should have.. but he still did it brilliantly.

Light was a genius who had fallen victim to the Death Note. It makes you "Need to write" or "Feel like you have to". He was stupid when he said, "I won, Near." at the end. If he didn't say that I think he could've found a way to manipulate them and get off free. I also think he should've listened when Near said, "Don't worry, no ones gonna die.". He also should've not killed innocent people who were not crimminals. All because someone doesn't agree with your point of view doesn't mean that they are evil. Everyone has a right to their own opinions and views.

Light was bat shit crazy in the end but he was intelligent almost as intelligent as L and that is what makes him a genius in my opinion.
