I really don't think he's over Katherine yet. People were already saying this after Katherine told him she never loved him and that was not true. Have you seen the way he reacted when he learned she was with Mason in 2.06 ? And when he realized she really loves Stefan in 2.07 ? He spent 145 YEARS loving her, that's not gonna go away just like that. Now I agree, closing that tomb was a big step for him, bu still, he's not over her yet.

I don't think he is fully over Katherine. You don't spend 145 loving, no, OBSESSING over someone, only to get over them in like, what? 5 episodes? Not possible.

I think no matter how hard Damon tries, there will always be a little part of him that loves her. Even if it is tiny.
