The train was nearing the reservoir por segundos and steam could be seen as it was passing through the country. The boy had been playing beside the outside of the control room, when he heard the train coming. actuación in haste, the boy ran around the side of the building but tripped and fell. He fell down into the lower bowels of the bridge gears. Looking through the window, the man saw his son fall into the gears. The man cried out, worried for his son. The train was almost there and the bridge wasn't leveled out.
The train was coming nearer.
segundos passed and the train was now visible. It was rushing at parte superior, arriba speed towards the bridge.
The man had to make a decision...
Save his son...
Or...
Pull the lever and let his son be crushed...
Tears ran down the man's face as he pulled the lever...
All the drug addicts, liars, cheaters, and thieves looked out their windows and saw the man crying in defiance and complete sadness.
This is the kind of sacrifice and despondency that God had to endure for the safety of all of us... He gave his one and only Son so that we, sinners, could be saved from all sin. The death of one saved many...
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
*Details* I was watching a clip of this story in church one día and it was very touching. People were crying and everything. The pastor dicho that it was from a movie, but it mirrored the great sacrifice, and they decided to share it with us. Just thought tu might like to know in case tu have seen a part of a movie with this scene. It was very intense and it made me feel... unworthy... but at least we have a caring, loving, and forgiving God that loves us. Otherwise, we would have to face hell after death.
