Aizen didn't kill Momo, but tried. Luckily 4th division's captain and lieutenant were there just in time to save her and 10th division's captain. But what i think about Momo, that she is kinda sweet, who takes care of her job pretty well and is thoughtful. ^_^

She's basically the one that just happens to have everything bad happen to her, and yet seems to respond in ways that just boggle my mind. Her general lack of importance and the fact that she's basically all emotion and no substance make me seriously not like her as a character.

Does anyone mind clearing something up for me?
Look as I've stated I don't hate Momo, she's not the greatest character but I have nothing against her. Anyway my question is why didn't she die? Look when they talk about Aizen's Zanpakutō they make it sound like one of the awesmest pieces of weaponry. It's illusive and dangerous, a master at trickery and what not. So why is it the Momo lived? I'm just being realistic about this. I mean if a sword that big stabs right through you one would think you'd die instantaneously and yet she lives. Even if Hitsugya got their on time she should have died right away. WTF is up with that? This Zanpakutō that’s so deadly and awesome can't even successfully kill a 4 foot 11 girl?

"Understamanting" her? I get that you mean underestimating, but I still don't understand the point. If we're talking about the same character, then what is there to underestimate? The only fight she ever got even close to winning (vs. Kira) was interrupted. I don't think the problem is underestimating. If you want to argue that you enjoy the character, that's fine, but at least argue for the features of hers that are really and truly there. Momo will never be a great fighter (unless she gets some insane boost in power, she'll never match up to the greats), so it's pointless to argue that. Argue that she's integral to the story in other ways, that you enjoy the character design, that you enjoy her personality; that's enough.

I used to not be able to stand her... but now that I'm re-reading the manga I'm starting to see her in a new light, since before I only saw her as the crazy annoying girl obsessed with Aizen.

Momo-chan is such a cute character overall sometimes with Aizen-sama she may go a little overboard but still she's a very good character otherwise well I view her as a very good character she's also a very interesting one as well!

I can't choose any of these... I don't hate her, but her character is one of the worst in Bleach... She pisses me off more than Nnoitra's big, stupid grin. Honestly, I agree with LostAngel, how did she not die? She should not have been able to stand up to Aizen's reiatsu - I mean, come on, Ichigo and Renji in their Bankais (they were injured, but even so) didn't even get close to Aizen. Even Captain Komamura got aboslutely ravaged by Aizen, yet Momo lives from being stabbed right through her stomach? Bullshit! She should have died from that, I mean come on.

I made that rant 9 months ago... Haha. I still don't hate her, but I stand by what I said. I will admit that 'pisses me off' doesn't really work - I don't focus that much into her... I think she's a nice person, but I still don't get how she lived, when everybody else got devastated by Aizen...
