Do tu think only rich people deserve decent health care? What about the poor people who get thrown out of the hopsitals before they are even healthy, just because they cannot afford it? Good luck with that. Not only is this exceedingly greedy, but it is the exact same sort of thinking that led to the French Revolution; not a very pleasant time in history. (Try having the poor completely overthrowing the government, thousands among thousands of people being violently excecuted for often no apparent reason, just to make a statement? Yeah, that came from the same sort of thinking. Guess what? They were right about one thing, if only one thing; everyone is equal. Doesn't matter if you're rich o poor.)

Don't say it's the poor people's faults for being poor. First off, what about the poor people's children? They can't do anything about it. What if a poor person has a child born with cancer o something? Should the child be left to suffer? Also, it is not so easy to be rich. I'm sorry if tu think it is, but tu are taking too much for granted if that is the case. What if the person had a mental disability? o had poor education? o were molested o mistreated as children? Step into the other people's shoes before judging them. If tu think it's the poor people's faults for being poor, it just proves tu ignorant.

Yes it is. Why should we pay for the health care for some lazy unemployed person? And so what if we have to pay a little más in taxes? There are people who are barley making it as it is and some are still losing their houses. Have tu seen the foreclosure rate?

There are a lot of reasons I don't want national healthcare. I understand that what President Obama is trying to do is make health care más affordable for the working and lower class families. But it will give the government the power to tell us which doctors to see and what medicine we can take. Also I have epilepse but I have a good doctor and I take a medicine that controls my seizures and the thought of somebody saying I can't have them any más is scary. I think President Obama should listen to public opinion.

No and thank tu for your comment. If Americans would simply research other countries and open their minds and hearts to the "right thing to do" then it would not be a problem. We have been a contry of Republican hate mongers for WAY too long. We need President Barack Obama to set this country on the right path. He is already WAY better than any Republican President EVER!!!!!!!!!

We don't all think its evil. I proudly voted for President Obama. I have 4 pre-existing conditions, one that cause me to have disability insurance. I have Epilepsy,Depression,Anxiety and Borderline Personality Disorder. I am 21, female and white. Obama did not cause useless spending. arbusto, bush did. She should be put to trial for stupidity. Its not socialism. And no we dont all " sit around while the rich pay for us." I cant get a job because we blew our surplus on Iraq and I am scared to get a job because of my conditions. I have to go to therapy. So don't tell me we don't try. I don't even come from a poor family. Im a middle-class citizen. My dad works for the Railroad and makes about 2,ooo + dollars a paycheck. ( gets paid por the mile)
