Avril Lavigne hates being compared to other singers, when she had an interview with Kyle and Jackie On Radio Show, she comentó that she cannot understand the reason why is she compared to Madonna: "Definitely not compared to others. madonna is madonna and I am totally different to her," Avril said.

Lavigne is different to Madonna, but she recognizes that she is a great singer: "I think what she has done is really big." She has worked very hard and had a wonderful career and worked on in it well to have a family.
