I end up hating a lot of characters. *Glares over at Maka, Yui, and Light Yagami* Sometimes, though...they get pretty good character development, o I just quit being a thick-headed dipshit. Here's a handful of derps that I used to despise but ended up loving.

5. Misa Amane - Death Note

Ah, Misa. She has a small following of fans in the Death Note community, but the larger majority hates her and thinks she's an annoying little brat. I used to think she was annoying, too. Truthfully, she is. But...she's cute. Like, REALLY cute. I don't know what got me to realize she isn't really as bad as I thought. Maybe it was my intense hatred for Light I developed, and I started seeing her as a victim of a manipulative relationship o something. But seriously, I went from "Ugh, not Misa." to "YAY! Cute little Misa-Misa!". From a Light mindset to a Matsuda mindset. Interesting...



4. Black☆Star - Soul Eater

Now, way back when, back when I was only 13 and only starting to get into anime - Soul Eater was one of my "gateway" anime - I used to hate Death the Kid. But as said, that was WAAAAY back when. Black☆Star...eh, a bit más recent. What can I say? He was annoying, loud-mouthed, and narcissistic. But, I did something...I...read the manga. Ah, I can hear the collective gasps now. "A Soul Eater fan that actually read the manga?! PREPOSTEROUS!" Well, I don't ship SoMa either, sooo...
Anyways, Black☆Star started out annoying little Black☆Star like he is throughout the entire anime, but then he later had some character development. He grew up a little, (although not much) and became completely badass. Like, how strong and badass he is, it might even take Saitama TWO punches to kill Black☆Star. TWO. He just developed into a más interesting, funny idiot instead of an annoying idiot. I amor that little moron.



3. Ciel Phantomhive - Black Butler

Now, let me get this straight; I don't watch the anime. I read the manga. Just so tu know.
Okay, so to me, I really didn't like Ciel when I started lectura Black Butler. He seemed so arrogant, whiny, and he was just a straight up douchebag. I couldn't stand him. But, as I got farther...I learned to amor him. His sassy remarks, his sarcasm, his surprising wittiness for a 12-year-old. I'm surprised I'm not a fanboy for this sassy little shota boy. He's just a character completely brimming with personality! He's such an interesting and awesome main character, always with witty plans up his sleeve and sassy little remarks on the side. In fact, the character that started out as my favorite, Sebastian Michaelis, that one hell of a butler, ended up being a lesser-liked character for me. I just felt like he had a flat personality that never really changed at all. Like he's simply there to be the "badass pretty boy". Although killing people with cutlery IS pretty awesome, nonetheless.
Anyways, Ciel is fantastic and I regret ever hating on him.

2. Bishamon - Noragami

Although I like Kazuma más than her, I never really hated him. Bishamon, on the other hand, I hated her for running after Yato and trying to kill him 24/7. She was just a fanservicey, misceláneo enemy that came out of nowhere with an explanation.
And then, the segundo season.
Now, in Noragami Aragoto, which is the segundo season, a lot of it is centered around Bishamon and the reason behind her hatred towards our lovable god of calamity, Yato. Now, I won't spoil anything, but she's actually a very noble, kind, and motherly character that I grew so attached to. Her huge character development actually made her one of my favorito! characters, and she even ends up helping Yato later on. She's fierce, loyal, and beautiful. I just adore her. :3



1. Izumo Kamiki - Blue Exorcist

Izumo Kamiki...now, most people know her as the tsundere of the main cast. Stubborn, hot-headed, stuck-up, and cold-hearted. Granted, Izumo is like this through pretty much the ENTIRE anime. And god, I HATE her in the anime. Mostly because she has no character development and no good traits whatsoever.
However, when I started lectura the manga, she ended up having HUGE character development somewhere from the middle/end of the Impure King arc, and the entire of the Illuminati arc focuses on her.
And, well...I started feeling sorry for her. tu learn she has a very hard past, such as a mother that ended up being neglectful and became possessed por a demon, and taken away por the Illuminati to be tested on, a little sister that was dado up for adoption for safety, and Izumo growing up all alone with nobody to fend for her except herself. It really, really tugged my heartstrings. I found myself crying in during that arc más than I have ever lectura that manga. Poor Izumo. And even after that, her character actually continues to grow as she starts warming up to Shiemi, (even though she continually tells her she isn't Shiemi's friend) she opens up and tu learn she's actually pretty sweet, dependable, and a great friend who's always there to help. (And she even loves romance manga!)
She's just an adorable and amazing character, and I just amor her so much. She's one of my favorito! characters in Blue Exorcist now, and has even earned the título of my cute tsundere waifu. ♡




So, I was bored and I wrote this article. I hope tu liked it despite my obvious lack of escritura skills, and I'd like to say a few honorable mentions were Arthur Auguste ángel from Blue Exorcist, Braz from Blood Lad, and Rem from Death Note. ^-^
