Well, Light has the Death Note and Goku would have no idea about what was going on. I think he is one step forward but if it was a fist fight Light wouldn't have a second to see Goku's face.

When it comes to light it all comes down to the conditions of the fight, I don't actually see light winning this one though, he might have the death note but goku would end the fight faster than light could write his name, or more precisely faster than the speed of light!...no? any takers? anyway if it was a stand off, however if they were apart and had a whole city to fight in, then Light would have a chance, but light would feel no urgency to just write his name down as fast as possible if he didn't know that goku could kill him in the blink of an eye, also if goku knew that light had that power then he would most likely not muck around either, this isnt like most fights like goku vs superman or whatever,there are too many variables, it cold go either way based on the details of the fight, but I think in most cases goku would win.

Well its true that Goku could be killed by Light when he uses the Death Not, but that requires a specific limit of time until the Death Note could kill him. But Goku manages to keep Light running not giving him a chance to write. Also Light would have to dodge all the damage that Goku would cause.

Alright anybody who thinks Light or L can kill Goku has never watched Dragon Ball Z. I own a replica of the death note book and it has all the rules in it, it's been awhile since I read all the rules but i'm pretty sure you have to write the name they're born with and Goku's real name is Kakarot and i'm pretty sure there's another rule about how the death note book doesn't affect non earthlings and since Kakarot was born on Planet Vegeta...well it sucks to be Light

Yah Light would have no chance to write Goku's name down in the death note book. Besides Goku is not his birth name its Kakarot. And Goku could easily burn up the death note book before Light has a chance to write his real name down in it. And here is an example from Zatch Bell a Momoda can only exist in the human work bit once there book is burned up the Momodo and there power no longer exist on Planet Earth. Wich mean Goku can burn up light's boom before he has a chance to right Goku's real name Kakarot down in it. Besides that. Gomu can gain energy from other Super Sayins and become a Super Sayin God if any of you all watched the new Dragon Ball Z Battle of the Gods movie that came out last year. Light has no chance against that in a battle. So Goku wins with hands down.

If i remember correctly Light Needs a first and last name to be able to kill someone in his Death Note Book. And Goku was not his birth name. It was Kakarot. Vegeta knows it all too well of where Goku came from. He isn't from planet earth like Light Yagami is.
