When it comes to interacting and socialising with animals, I must admit I have a preference for quirky, challenging personality types. That said, just about every animal that's ever been in my life has had a very interesting personality, so that's worked out pretty nicely. :) Including but not limited to a rabbit who craved attention and hugs but was prone to very short tantrums, and a guinea pig who had no concept of the law of gravity.

My first rabbit was actually very intelligent, but even he managed to throw something over his head and then run into a brick wall.

Why. Why would you decide an animal deserves death because they have a personality you care less for.
