Animal Kingdom Poll: Who Shot Baz? 

Talk about going out with a bang! TNT’s

concluded its superlative Season 2 on Tuesday with the surprise shooting of Scott Speedman’s Baz and one hell of a cliffhanger: “Whodunit?” we’re now left to ask ourselves until Season 3.

The likeliest suspects are, of course, newly crowned kingpin J, rightly having sensed that Baz was a threat that he would be wise to eliminate; Smurf, having hired from behind bars an assassin after Baz thwarted her heartless plot to have Pope pull the trigger; and Lucy, using Marco to do the deed so that they could get their mitts on the loot that Baz stole from Smurf’s storage unit.

As unstable as Pope is — and as eager as he is to replace deadbeat Baz as Lena’s father — you could always make a case for him being the guilty party. But, considering that Baz had just forgiven him for murdering babymama Catherine, the chances of Pope having opened fire seem more like “none” than “slim.”

J- Has not been pushed far enough to be a murderer this season. Hopefully never. There was no way he could make it back to the party on time.

Smurf- She pitted Pope and Baz against each. Boo! She hasn’t found out that Baz forgave Pope.

Marcus on his own- He wouldn’t pull that on his own without his sister Lucy’s okay or help. He also would be afraid to go against Baz bc in his mind, you go against one brother, you go against ALL the brothers. I think that is what happens too. All the family will go against the siblings.

Lucy and Marco want the loot from the storage unit.

I don’t think it was Marcos – I’m pretty sure it was J bcuz Baz hated J for taking over as POA on smurfs behalf. Becuz she knew where the stash of cash was (behind the walls) she told her bro to meet her at the house & help steal $$ out of Country & bak to Mexico!!! Smurf will catch up w/ her!!!

J……he’s the smartest of the crew and saw which direction his future was taking when Smurf gave him POA. Baz would stop at nothing to have that power and control!!! Also, I think that J figured out Baz was his father!!!

You know I always thought Baz was his father. I also agree with you Baz wouldn’t stop at anything to get POA.

Lucy is the only one who knows where all the money is. I don’t think J would do it unless he knew where the money was.

Didn’t like or trust Lucy from the beginning.. She’s shady! J just doesn’t have it in him..yet anyways & Pope? Nah..he’s unstable as all get out but he’s to concerned with Leah..

i think Smurf and her lunch buddies put a hit out on BAZ, Lucy stole the money when, Smurf gets out of jail she will go after Lucy and Marcos…

Keep Smurf in jail and make her TopDog, spinoff

She knows what’s going on and would do it to please J – especially if she was coked up. She could have sneaked away from the party long enough to do it.
