Independent record label finds home in New Kensington

The Cincinnati-bred, Hollywood-based Black Veil Brides delivered a scorching performance to Pittsburgh fans who braved 20-degree temperatures to see their metalcore band idols.

Wrapped in blankets while waiting for the doors to open, the mostly adolescent crowd packed the indoor venue at Stage AE for the Black Mass Tour presented by Hot Topic, featuring opening acts Drama Club, Set it Off and Falling in Reverse.

The tour kicked off in October with the release of the Black Veil Brides' self-titled, fourth studio album. Debuting at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, the album sold over 30,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week and is the band's third album to break the top 20.
