Ehm, people, how you can write, that Raoul is ugly, when in the same movie is Phantom?(lets talk about him WITHOUT his mask)And, by the way, ILuvSweeneyTodd, he is called Erik in the book- in the musical as well as in the movie his name doesnt appear, so it can be Erik, but any other name too or he can have no name.

I hate Gerard Butler (in this movie) with a passion so my musical favourite has to be changed.. But Emmy as Christine is amazing. I think she really captures that innocence of Christine really well.. and her voice is pretty good..

Carlotta. Flamboyant, colorful, talented - c´mon, Carlotta was dubbed by a real opera singer! and unjustly demonized. Phantom is a glorified bully. Carlotta blames wrong person - Christine - but again, that´s Phantom´s fault who does not tell the truth. And Christine writhes at the stage with a murderer - hardly so pure!

Meg, because she's awesome, and she really needs more character development. Eff Love Never Dies.

Erik, of course. Raoul is a stupid childish dude with a narcisist comportment, and he has such a toxic masculinity. I really feel sorry for people who like him. Btw, i also love Madame Giry, she's kind and sweet, she's Meg's mother and... well.. she's such a mother for Erik. Love them, Erik, M. Giry and Meg, the rest of the characters i HATE.
