On Monday 6th October 2008 at the 19th Q Magazine Awards, held at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, Adam Ant was presented with the 2008 icono Award.

The awards ceremony has been held por the respected UK magazine since 1990 where the icono Award has been dado as a special recognition to artists, where some of the anterior winners have included Jimmy Page, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney

Adam was accompanied to the Awards ceremony por his partner Clare and Morrissey guitarist and former escritura partner, Boz Boorer .
