#60: Tom and Jerry
Ah, here it is. We have finally reached one of the classic caricaturas of the early years of animation. Now, Tom and Jerry is a very simple show. It is about a cat and a mouse, who are always trying to kill each other so they can benefit, and they end up hurting themselves in humorous ways. And that is where the comedy for the mostrar comes from. It comes from all the wacky and odd ways they get hurt. Whatever happens, they will always hurt each other in a funny way, and then shrug it off like it was nothing. And there is also the insane amounts of places they are at. At a house, a construction site, a beach, a lab, and a whole bunch of other insane stuff. Now, the only problem with this mostrar is that, there really isn’t much to say after that. I only just did explain the series as a whole to you, and that is basically what is is. A mostrar where a cat and ratón hurt each other and comedic ways. What más do tu need, other than it’s a timeless classic?
#59: The Proud Family
This mostrar is The Boondocks for kids. It is a mostrar about an African American family living in suburban neighborhood just living their everyday lives. Normally, this would be a terrible idea for a kids show, but in the end, it ended up working better than anyone of us had ever expected it to. This mostrar has a great collection of characters. There’s Penny, a straight A student who is always caving into peer pressure. Oscar, an over-protective and childish father. Trudy, the level-headed mother. Bebe and Cece, the troublemaking infante twins. Dijonay, Penny’s enthusiastic best friend. Zoey, Penny’s nerdy fried. LaCienega, Penny’s frienemy. And then there’s Sugarmama. Oh god, she easily makes the show. She is Penny’s grandmother and Oscar’s mother, and is always making fun of her son whenever he does something stupid, and is just such a joy to watch. And, the reason this mostrar works as an animated mostrar is because it has very fluent movement that would never work as a live action sitcom. What más can be said, it’s an amazing slice-of-life comedy mostrar that manages to be one of the funniest shows that disney had.
#58: Fate/Zero
Holy crap, this mostrar was just so awesome. Being a sequel to Fate/Stay Night, an anime I haven’t gotten around to watching yet, it is about a Holy Grail War that takes place, and that the Holy Grail will grant a wish to each member of the winning team, and this later has the war fall into it’s fourth Holy Grail War. This leads to Kiritsugu to go and obtain the Holy Grail, who wants to use it to save the world, and will kill anyone who he believes is threatening the world's peace. And this anime has a lot of main characters. I mean, way más than I am accustomed to. But, if there is anything this anime does best, it’s its fight scenes. Holy hell, these are easily some of the best fight scenes I have ever seen in an anime. They mostrar just how well the animación is in these fight scenes alone, and I can never get enough of it. I actually ended up looking up fight scenes from the anime. Not the full anime, just misceláneo fight scenes from it. Yes, I find them to be that good. I am still working on finishing the series right now, but, I really hope that this series stays as awesome as it is right now.
#57: Sonic Boom
Here it is. My favorito! Sonic cartoon…. and it’s only at number fifty seven….. huh…. Anyway, just like the other Sonic cartoons, if you’ve played the games, then tu get the idea. The mostrar is about Sonic and the gang foiling Eggman’s plans. Seriously, it’s as simple as Mario’s plot. However, this is actually different than the other shows, because this is the first Sonic mostrar to be made in CGI. The characters, of course, are Sonic, who is a likeable jerk. Tails, still a genius. Amy, still has a crush on Sonic. And Knuckles. Knuckles redesign seemed to have angered a lot of people. Me, personally, I didn’t mind, as I feel it adds to his idiotic character. Than there’s Sticks, who is a mentally unstable tejón who has so many hilarious moments, that I would have to make a separate lista about them. And of course, Eggman, who is still an evil genius. What makes this mostrar so good is that not a single person, o at least the people who I knew, never expected this mostrar to be good. The mostrar is based off the Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric game, which was a complete disaster and is easily becoming the worst Sonic game, even beating Sonic ‘06. What can tu say, Sonic Boom was a mostrar we thought was gonna suck, and it ended up being the best Sonic cartoon ever made por far.
#56: Foster’s inicial for Imaginary Friends
Finally, we get to a Lauren Faust show. The mostrar is about a world where childhood imaginary friends take physical forms and live alongside humans. When kids outgrow their imaginary friends, they take them to Foster’s inicial for Imaginary Friends, where they live until another child comes to adopt them. The mostrar follows Mac, and his imaginary friend, Bloo, as they have misceláneo escapades each day, along with the other members of the house. The other members being Wilt, a tall, friendly and athletic imaginary friend. Eduardo, a menacing looking imaginary friend that is actually very cowardly. Then there’s Coco, a bird… plane… palm árbol imaginary friend that can only say her name. And then there are all the characters of the home. I have to say, they animators went all out with the designs of the background characters. People are always talking about who is MLP’s best background pony. Screw that, look at all these crazy characters. This should be the talk of who is the best background character. However, even though this is one of my favorito! childhood cartoons, this isn’t Lauren Faust’s best show. But, it was still amazing, nonetheless.
#55: Scooby-Doo, Where Are You
Ah yes, here is another timeless classic. Now, this was before Scooby Doo lost it’s mind and made a bunch of awful cine that tried to attract kids. I mean, really, Scooby Doo meets wwe and KISS, are tu serious, Warner Brothers? But, nevermind that, we’re talking about the good old days. The series’s story was as simply as most early cartoons. A group of four teenagers and their cowardly dog solve mysteries because…. Actually, I don’t know. I don’t think anyone knows why they are doing this in the first place. Hell, do the creators even know. But, anyway, I don’t think I need to tell tu all about the characters. I mean, seriously, if tu don’t know who these characters are, then I don’t know what to tell you. Now, if tu remember what I dicho about Another, then tu will know why I amor this series. I am a major sucker for mystery shows. Of course I am going to watch it. Now, sure, Scooby-Doo may have lost it’s touch, like…. well, a lot of cartoons, but it will always be remember as one of the 60’s best caricaturas around.
#54: Justice League Unlimited
Holy crap, I actually remember this show. This mostrar was awesome, even though I didn’t know who half the heroes were. Seriously, if tu asked my seven año old self who Martian Manhunter was, I would just sit there like an idiot, trying to think who it was. Anyway, the mostrar was about a group of DC superheroes, such as Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman, The Flash, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, and so many others, as they fight to protect the earth from evil. Now, of course, I was gonna be sucked into this show. I mean, come on. I was seven at the time, so, there was no way I was going to let this mostrar fade into nothing. All seven año olds amor to watch superhero cartoons. I would say the animación was great, but, it’s a superhero cartoon. Of course the animación was great. Now, there really isn’t más I can say. tu all know the heroes, and tu all know what they do, so, I don’t have anymore to tell tu about this show, other than it’s one of my favorito! superhero shows out there.
#53: Black Lagoon
Sometimes, it’s nice to just watch a nice anime from Japan, and relax into your sofá as tu enjoy a relaxing animated show… Black Lagoon is nothing like that. At all. Black Lagoon is about a group of pirate mercenaries named Lagoon Company who smuggle goods across the seas of Southeast Asia. The best way to describe this mostrar is to take the most stupidly awesome action movie tu can think of, and turn it into an anime. In other words, this anime is basically Pulp Fiction: The Animated Series. In fact, that would explain so many things, since the creators of Black Lagoon based it off of cine por Quentin Tarantino. There are a lot of character, like Rock, a cowardly businessman who later joins Lagoon Company, and I swear, having Brad Swaile, the same guy who voiced Light Yagami, voice Rock just makes me imagine Rock is gonna start escritura peoples name in the Death Note… o talk about eating chips. Than there’s Revy, who just makes the mostrar with her psychotic personality. Than there’s Dutch. He’s black, so we already know what anime has in store for him. Now, this isn’t an anime for everyone. If tu like lots of stupid but awesome violence, like Pulp Fiction o Kill Bill, then this is the anime for you
#52: Fullmetal Alchemist
Of course this was gonna make the list. I mean, do tu think I have the entire DVD set just for decoration? While young, the main protagonists, Edward and Alphonse Elric lose their mother to a terminal illness. They then try to revive her por using Alchemy, which results in Edward losing his left leg, and Alphonse loses his whole body, which Edward saved por sacrificing his right arm, and placing his brothers soul in a suit of armor. After which, they registrarse the State Military of Amestris so they can find the Philosopher's Stone in order to return their bodies to normal. And I have to say, this anime has a great blend of many things. From awesome fight scenes, to some tragic moments, to good humor. This anime manages to mix them all up and the result is an amazing anime. Now, I haven’t watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood yet, but, I have been told that it is even better than the original Fullmetal Alchemist. All I can say is that I hope it’s better, because this series was awesome to begin with.
#51: Sword Art Online
Now, when people watched this anime, it got mixed vistas on it. People dicho that it was one of the greatest anime made with its amazing fight scenes, and well made animation. Other’s say that it is an overrated piece of crap and has bland characters and a boring story. Me, personally, I am on the side that says, “It was okay”. I can definitely see the shows flaws, but, I didn’t mind them too much. And besides, no anime is perfect. The series is about a game called Sword Art Online, which is a virtual reality MMORPG. However, once people play them, they are unable to log out. It is revealed that the games creator wants the players to reach the hundredth floor of the games tower and defeat the final boss. However, if the player's avatar dies in the game, they die for real. Other than the fact that that’s the worst idea for a game ever, it’s the best idea for a game ever. And, I do admit, there are some… poorly written characters, but that is all forgiven with a pretty interesting story. I wouldn’t say it’s the best story to come from anime, but it kept me interested enough to watch it to the end, so that’s something. Sure, it has flaws. But, I still find it to be a pretty good anime. And as for Sword Art Online II. Well… I can’t say my expectations are too high, but not too low either.
