I sure hope they prove me wrong, but I don't exactly have much faith in FOX. They've killed a number of TV shows that I fell in love with.
The only good thing I can say is, at least they've released some of the shows on DVD - short as some of the series may have been.

I've been watching the ratings for Touch and the feedback around the internet. It's important to note that, despite very low numbers (less than 1 million viewers), Fringe will be renewed. Touch has about the same production costs but is consistently around 8+ million every week. The viewer feedback has been probably 95% positive from what I'm seeing. I'm not worried about it getting a second season.

That's great to hear about Fringe, and I hope you're right about Touch. I'm sure that having Kiefer portray a lead character helps the ratings a lot too.

That wasn't meant to belittle any of the rest of the cast either. They are all wonderful actors and actresses. ;)

I think the show will get more popular as time goes!

Kiefer is definitely key to all this, and is an Executive Producer on the show, that's how much he loves it. It's his face that's 50 feet tall on highway billboards, they're fully aware how much his award-winning star power is bringing to the table in terms of both acting ability and in number of viewers.

Fox wasn't the only one to stop a good show but they have droped good ones like 24.

I'm glad TOUCH has been renewed for a 2nd season.

Has anyone heard whether Touch's 2nd season will be a full one, or just 13 episodes?

kateandme - I know that FOX isn't the only network to cancel a good show. The other networks have canceled shows I loved too. I guess I'm still upset that they didn't give 'Firefly' a real chance.
