\'s season seven trailer this Friday but some people have already seen how Negan\'s introductory scene plays out.
The scene, which filmed a couple of months ago when
resumed production for the seventh time in Georgia, has been shown to people involved with the show according to executive producer Greg Nicotero (who directed the episode).
"Some of the incoming directors, when they come in, they read all the scripts," Nicotero explains. "As the cuts are available, we want them to see the show because we want them to get a flavor for what we\'re doing visually. A couple of people have seen it and then they stand next to me for about 24 hours going, \'F---!\' And I\'m like, \'What?\'"
Nicotero couldn\'t better describe the reactions of those who have seen the brutal beatdown Negan delivers with words so he simply impersonated it by quivering, replicating the viewers trying to shake off what they had just watched.
As for himself, Nicotero has mixed emotions about Negan\'s introduction but is proud of what the cast and crew came up with. "It\'s pretty amazing, I\'ll tell ya," he says. "People cry which makes me happy and sad at the exact same time."
Fully aware of what fans want to see in the season 7 trailer, the executive producers plainly states (to no surprise) that the question of who Negan killed won\'t be answered. "It\'s gonna be tricky because it\'s like, \'What do you talk about?\'" he jokes before asserting his confidence in what AMC and
