Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
‘The Walking Dead’: Melissa McBride Teases…
Carol and Maggie may have escaped The Saviors on ‘The Walking Dead,’ but with Negan still looming, actress Melissa McBride has revealed what’s in store for season six’s end.
was all about strong women dealing with the difficult decisions they have to make to survive the zombie apocalypse, especially Melissa McBride‘s Carol. However, they’ve yet to face their toughest challenge yet, so Melissa filled fans in on how Carol is handling the threat of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) even though he hasn’t arrived yet.
, Melissa McBride, the woman behind Carol, revealed that the ending of the March 13 episode when Primo claims that he’s Negan was daunting for her character. After all, as you might remember from earlier in the episode, Molls told Carol that they are “all” Negan, but never explained what she meant by that.
“[She wonders] what does it mean? Is it a philosophy? What are we dealing with? Are there more of them?” Melissa explained, revealing that the group could possibly be thinking that Negan isn’t actually a real person after Primo and Molls’ statements. In case you missed what went down in the March 13 episode, read our FULL RECAP right here.
But, that’s not the group’s only concern at the moment — especially for Carol. Melissa shared that, “But it’s also like, ‘What have we become?’ As she’s squeezing that crucifix in her hand she inadvertently cuts herself with it — something’s going on and there’s much more story to be told. I can’t say too much.”

There is definitely an inner struggle happening with Carol, and maybe even Maggie, especially after their face-off with Paula and Chelle. Melissa even shared that when Chelle tells Maggie that they are not “the good guys,” that it was a “huge moment” because they really aren’t.
“I think after everything that’s happened in the episode with these women and the revelations Carol’s had, the struggles she’s had, and having just thrown that lit cigarette to burn those guys alive — I think she’s stunned,” Melissa shared, revealing where Carol is truly left when the episode ends.
Thankfully, there are still TWO episodes left until the April 3 finale — which is sure to leave all of us just as stunned as Carol.
