It's so obvious. There's at least 3x more DE fans than SE.

^Yes, but SE fans are also a lot. Most of the people I know {fanpop, other sites and real life} ship Stelena or both, Delena and Stelena like I do.

Maybe we're 50-50, but DE fans voice themselves out more, SE fans are more of a peaceful and quieter fandom in my opinion.

Yes we do have less fans than DE on FANPOP but I do believe SE/BD fans are alot more quiet than some other fanbases.....

I know that Rose is a troll so I'm not gonna bother replying to her. She's a Delena nut ball trolling on our site. She seems to be obsessed with coming here. Hmm, wonder why? Oh, maybe she's an in the closet Stelena shipper?

Anways, to answer my own poll question, no, I don't think that Stelena shippers are the minority within the TVD fandom. I happen to believe that Stelena shippers separately and combined with Bamon shippers happen to be the real, but silent majority. The reason why it seems as though Delena fans are the "majority" is because in general, they are a louder, more vocal and rabid fan base. They seek out all the ways in which they an validate their ship as much as possible so that they are heard (for example, on blogs, voting excessively on polls, posting on various different forums, making constant vids and fan art, etc). Why do they do this? Because they feel the need to express and validate their ship through all of these things due to the fact that their ship is non-canon and doesn't really exist. Stelena exists and that is why the fan base for Stelena is not as vocal and is much more quiet. When something has or is already happening, there is no reason to be loud, vocal or obsessive, overly expressive or passionate about it. They still support their couple, but they do it in a quiet, peaceful manner, because it's already happened/happening. STELENA IS CANON. DELENA IS NOT. So, Delena fans are not the majority, in fact, I can't help but feel that Delena fans are just a very vocal, rabid and loud minority of the general TVD fandom. They feel the need to be more loud and expressive regarding their ship in order to justify and gain validation, whether it be from other fans of the show, the writers, the producers, the media etc.

I think there a lot of SE fans out there as @ApplePie88 said. I belive that SE/DB fans are more paceful and warm to each other. When we disagree we aren't becoming agressive or bad or something, unlike DE fans. When you get in a fight with a DE fan he will do anything to bring you down, they are mean(I don't want to offence DE fans). They always want more, more than they can have. When I think of DE spot i see coldness and bad behaviour and being disrespectful(there are just a few respectable DE fans).
There are a lot of SE fans even from the books. There SE and DB kinda rule the place :)

Stelena has a ALOT OF fans who are passionate about their couple and I am so fucking tired of Delena fans degrading that. I am definitely agreeing with ApplePie88. Anyways I don't care even if Delena has a "bigger fanbase". Delena does not even exist and they are just hype. If they actually do get together, what story is there with them? None. They would not be interesting and Elena is not even in love with him. I love Damon...I truly do, but he needs to be with someone who is more of his match, and who truly loves him.
