The Rasoul Saga: Chapter 14
Nothing really eventful had happened while Kyle, Kagen, and Avina played video games; it was simply just three teens spending time together and enjoying the time. In fact, they kept playing video games and watching TV until cena time rolled around.
"Kids, it'll be time for cena soon," Kushina called from the kitchen. She was currently in the process of cooking dinner.
"Wow, did it get that late already?" Kagen asked as he turned his head to look at the muro clock that was on the hanging nearby in the living room. "I'm going to have to go. My parents are expecting me to come inicial for dinner."
"Alright, so tu have to leave now, Kagen?" Kyle asked as he watched Kagen stand up from the sofá where he was sitting.
"Yep, I need to go inicial before Mom starts calling me and telling me to come home," Kagen dicho with a nod of his head. "Bye, Mrs. and Mr. Waktini! It's time for me to head home!" He called towards the cocina as he walked over to the front door.
"Goodbye, Kagen! It was wonderful to see tu again!" Jacob and Kushina both called to Kagen from inside the kitchen. "Be careful on your way home!"
"I will! Thank you!" Kagen called back as he opened the front door. He dicho his last few goodbyes to Kyle and Avina, and then he walked out of the house and closed the door behind him.
"So, are tu ready for dinner?" Avina asked her brother as she turned all of the electronics off.
"Yeah, I'm getting pretty hungry," Kyle dicho with a nod of his head. He was quite hungry.
"I'm getting hungry myself," Avina agreed as she stood up from the sofá with Kyle. Both siblings then proceeded to walk into the cocina as they continued their conversation. "Hey, tu want to know something that I just thought of?"
"Really? What did tu think of?" Kyle asked, not really knowing what Avina was about to say.
"I noticed that Mancer hasn't come back yet, and it's been quite some time since he left," Avina pointed out as she sat down at the cocina table.
Kyle thought for a moment, realizing that Avina was right. "Oh, right! I didn't even think of that. Mancer really hasn't come back yet," He dicho as he sat down at the cocina table.
"That meeting with his friend must be lasting a while, o maybe something came up," Avina said.
"Yeah, I guess so," Kyle agreed. "He probably either is still in that meeting, o maybe something came up and he had to go inicial o go somewhere else... Oh well. I'm sure he'll come back here eventually, o maybe he'll just go on inicial for the siguiente if it gets too late."
"That's probably what he'll do," Avina said. "Either come here o go inicial o wherever he goes during the night."
"Probably," Kyle dicho with a nod of his head. He looked over at both of his parents, who were busy with cooking dinner. They seemed like they were just about done with the cooking, however.
"Hey... Sorry I was in my room all día long," A voice called from the living room, followed por footsteps. The voice was revealed to belong to Daniel as he walked into the kitchen. "I got wrapped up in the book I was lectura and didn't realize how late it had gotten."
"It's okay, Daniel... No one's mad o upset," Kushina said. "Dinner will be ready soon, though, if tu want to go ahead and take a seat. I believe your brother and sister already have."
Daniel gave a nod of his head, and then he sat down at the mesa, tabla with Kyle and Avina. "Hey," He greeted to both his brother and sister.
"Hi, Daniel. tu didn't really miss anything," Avina dicho as she turned her head to look at Daniel. "Kagen was over here for a while, though. He already left to go home."
"I was pretty sure he was here. I could have sworn I heard him while I was still in my room," Daniel dicho with a nod. "I guess I was right."
"Yeah, tu were," Kyle dicho with a nod. "Mancer also left to go meet a friend of his, o at least that's what he dicho he was going to do. I'm not sure if he'll be back tonight o not."
"I suppose he'll come back if he's not busy o doesn't go to his own home," Daniel said.
"That's what we were thinking," Avina said.
"Hey, kids? cena is ready," Jacob interrupted, turning around to look at the three kids. "Are tu three ready to eat?"
"We're ready," All three of the siblings dicho with nods.
"Alright, then let's eat," Jacob dicho with a smile.
After dinner, the family went their separate ways in the house; Jacob went back into the lab, Kushina went into the laundry room to put away clean clothes, Daniel went to the living room to watch TV, Avina went to her room to play on her laptop, and Kyle went into his room.
Kyle was sitting at his escritorio in his room, escritura in a black notebook of his; he loved to write small little stories and fictions just for his own amusement. He quite enjoyed writing.
Kyle continued escritura for quite some time until he began hearing a small knocking noise on the roof outside his bedroom window. "...Now what in the world is that...?" Kyle asked himself in small surprise. He leaned away from the desk, looking at the window that was over to the right of the room. He was just slightly surprised to see Mancer standing on the roof siguiente to the window. "Mancer?"
Mancer knocked on the window gently with his hand, as if trying to tell Kyle something. He pointed down at the bottom of the window, trying to tell Kyle to come unlock the window.
Kyle had to sit and watch Mancer for a few moments, until he realized what he wanted. "Oh!" He stood up from his escritorio and walked over to the window to unlock it for Mancer so he could come inside.
"Thank tu very much," Mancer dicho as soon as the window was opened. He carefully climbed inside the window, making sure not to trip as he stepped inside. "I apologize for not coming back here sooner. I took care of a few errands in town after the meeting."
"It's fine, Mancer," Kyle dicho as he closed the window and locked it again. "What kind of errands did tu take care of?" He asked out of pure curiosity.
"Oh, nothing much. Just some shopping that I needed to do," Mancer dicho as he turned to face Kyle. "Anyway, I think it's gotten too late to work on your training for today."
"It's gotten too late?" Kyle asked.
"Well, it's already dark. It would be hard to work in the darkness, and we don't need to be training in the house obviously," Mancer replied.
"True... I understand," Kyle dicho with a small nod of his head. "So what are we going to do?"
"I suppose tu can do whatever tu want, Kyle. I might be going back to my inicial soon for the night so I can sleep," Mancer said.
"You're going back home, Mancer?" Kyle asked. "...Hey, where is your inicial anyway? I'm kind of curious..." Kyle added with a smile.
"Oh, it's just in a place, on a street, in a neighborhood," Mancer replied with a small smirk underneath his helmet.
"...Where is it exactly?" Kyle asked with a slight smile as he tilted his head to the side.
"Ah, I'll probably mostrar tu sometime. Maybe I will," Mancer said. "It's nothing that important."
"If it's not that important, then why can't I know where it is?" Kyle pressed on with a smile.
"It's just a house, Kyle. A house is a house," Mancer dicho with a laugh. "Anyway, what were tu up to? I saw that tu were escritura something in that notebook of yours."
"Oh, I was just doing a bit of fiction writing. I like to write my own little short stories and such," Kyle explained with a smile. "It's nothing too special. Just something for my imagination and my entertainment."
"Ah, that sounds interesting," Mancer dicho with a nod of his head. "I personally don't feel like I have a very creative imagination, but that's just me personally."
"I'm sure tu have a little something," Kyle dicho with a small smile.
"Perhaps I do. I just don't think it's with imagination, though," Mancer said. "Anyway, I think I might be heading inicial now o pretty soon."
"You're going inicial now, Mancer?" Kyle asked.
"Yes, indeed, I believe I will," Mancer dicho as he started to walk back over to the window that he had entered through. "I also think I better leave through this window so I don't surprise everybody... I doubt anyone knows I'm here except for you."
Kyle was about to say something, but he was stopped when a knock on his closed bedroom door was heard. "Hello?"
"Kyle, may I come in? I brought some clean clothes for you. I was doing the laundry downstairs," Kyle's mother called through the door as the door opened just a crack.
"Oh, it's fine! tu can come in, Mom!" Kyle called with a smile, not thinking about the fact that Mancer was still in the room.
"Thank you, Kyle!" Kushina's mother called as she opened the door and walked inside. She turned her head and immediately noticed Mancer standing near the window. A quite wide look of shock flew onto her face at the sight of the hybrid. "Mancer, when did tu get here?"
"I got here shortly ago. It hasn't been that long at all since I got here," Mancer replied. "I just climbed in through your son's bedroom window here because I was only going to tell him that it was too late for training and that I was going to head inicial for the night." He paused for a moment, realizing that might seem a bit strange. "...Er, my apologies, I know that must sound off. I promise, I was doing nothing but telling him that I was going home. I told him earlier that maybe we could train when I got back, but obviously it's gotten too late."
"...Just... tell me when you're coming in siguiente time..." Kushina dicho as she walked over to Kyle's closet to put up clothes. She seemed to have an almost angry tone in her voice, though it went fairly unnoticed. "I'd rather tu come in the front door and tell me that you're going to come see my son instead of just climbing in his room.
"Once again, my apologies. I understand that was a mistake on my part," Mancer dicho as he looked down towards the floor slightly. "Do tu mind if I leave through the front door? I was going to use the window, but it would be easier to use the front door since I won't have to climb back down off of the house."
"You can use the front door, I don't mind. Just remember I'm giving tu a kind of warning this time," Kushina dicho in a tone that was growing slightly flat. "Since I can't say I know tu exactly well yet... Well, I'm sure tu understand. Being the adult that tu are, I'm sure tu can understand. Anyway, you're free to go downstairs and use the front door if tu want."
"Alright, thank you," Mancer dicho with a nod. He walked towards Kyle's bedroom door. "I'll be seeing tu some other time, Kyle. Perhaps tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Kyle asked.
"Yes, most likely. Unless I get busy, we should be able to talk again tomorrow. Goodbye, Kyle. See tu tomorrow," Mancer dicho as he walked out of the bedroom.
"Bye, Mancer," Kyle called in a lightly raised voice, not knowing if Mancer was able to hear him o not. He then turned to face his mother, who was still putting clothes away in the closet. "So, what time do tu want me to get in cama tonight, Mom? Is there anything going on tomorrow?"
"Not that I know of..." Kushina said, the flat tone in her voice seeming to have lifted slightly. "I suppose as long as you're in cama por eleven, it's fine. Though it would be nice if tu got in cama just a bit earlier."
"Alright, I'll make sure to watch the clock, then. I won't stay up too late," Kyle dicho with a nod as he turned back to his escritorio to continue escritura like he was before.
"Thank you, dear," Kushina dicho with a smile as she finished putting away Kyle's clothes in his closet. "I'm going to go back downstairs now. I'll see tu later o tomorrow, Kyle," She dicho as she walked over towards the bedroom door to exit the room.
"Bye, Mom," Kyle called as she walked out of the room. "I'll most likely come tell tu when I'm going to go to cama so tu know!"
"Okay, dear!" Kushina called back, already starting to walk back downstairs.
Kyle continued escritura away at his notebook, putting a smile on his face as he read over his own writing. He was quite happy with the current story he was writing, and enjoying what he was doing.
"Hey, Kyle? Can I sit in here with tu for a bit? I want someone to talk to," Avina's voice spoke from the doorway as she walked into Kyle's bedroom.
"You want someone to talk to? Did something happen?" Kyle asked in confusion.
"Oh no, I just want to hang out for a little while," Avina dicho with a smile. "I was getting bored just being por myself."
"So, tu just want to talk for a while?" Kyle asked.
"Yeah, basically. Maybe watch TV o something?" Avina dicho with a shrug of her shoulders.
"Well, pretty much anything is fine with me," Kyle dicho as he began putting away his escritura tools. "I'll go ahead and turn the TV on so we can watch it, though," He added as he started setting up his TV so they could watch it.
......................................................
The black and red hybrid released a heavy sigh as he released walked about to the large doors of his home. His tired red eyes looked around the room silently, as if searching for someone. "...Is anyone still awake in here...?" He called in a quiet, calm voice.
"Mancer? Is that you?" An adult female's voice asked from a room other than the living room that the black and red hybrid had entered into.
"Shannon? You're here?" The black and red hybrid asked in shock as he turned his head towards where the female's voice was coming from; the voice was coming from the cocina area.
"Yes, Kurayami invited me over so we could discuss a few festivals that are coming up later on," The female's voice replied as it began sounding like it was getting closer to the hybrid's location. "I hope tu don't mind."
"Oh, I don't mind at all. I enjoy the time that we get to spend together," The hybrid dicho as a small smile spread over his face, though it couldn't been seen due to the casco that he was wearing. He did take his casco off very soon afterwards, though.
"I enjoy the time I get to spend with tu and your family as well," The female's voice dicho in a happy tone. The voice was revealed to belong to a silver and blue cat female, who had quite long light silver and blue hair that hung down past her shoulders. She wore a dark red manga larga shirt, and she wore long dark blue jeans. She wore plain white sneakers, and she wore dark green earrings. She had gentle silver eyes, but they weren't like normal eyes; they were just dark silver pupils that were glowing with a soft silver light. The pupils were snake-like in shape. The female also looked fairly attractive, though she wasn't wearing anything such as makeup. She appeared to be in her early twenties o so.
The black and red hybrid gave a smile towards the female. "You're looking well, Shannon. I haven't seen tu for the past couple of days because I've been busy training a new student of mine... I'm sorry I haven't had any time to talk."
"You have a new student?" Shannon asked as she moved her silver-blue hair out of her face. She walked over to the black and red hybrid, and gave him a quick, friendly hug with a smile on her face. She then moved away from the hybrid and walked off towards the living room area of the house.
"Yes, indeed. I do have a new student," The black and red hybrid began as he followed the silver and blue cat towards the living room. "We've pretty much just started working together, and he doesn't seem to know much about his powers. I figure it's going to take quite some time unless he's a very quick learner."
"How much does he know about his powers so far?" Shannon asked as she turned her head slightly to look at the hybrid.
"Not much, it seems... He knows how to use his powers as a projectile, but that might be it. He seems eager to learn, however. So that is probably a good thing," The hybrid replied. He looked around the living room as he walked in with Shannon, noticing a black and white zorro, fox who was sitting on the large couch, appearing rather sleepy.
"Kurayami, are tu awake?" The hybrid asked as he quietly approached the black and white fox. The zorro, fox was wearing very baggy and long black shorts, and he was wearing a dark blue sleeveless shirt. He also had many curving light blue tatuajes lining his arms and legs. The zorro, fox didn't have his camisa, camiseta tucked in o anything like that, and his hair appeared to stick out in a few small directions. The black and white zorro, fox appeared to be around in his thirties.
The black and white zorro, fox named Kurayami jolted up out of his sleep, his eyes flying open in shock at the sound of the hybrid's voice. "Who in the-?! Oh, Mancer! It's you!" He dicho as he realized that the black and red hybrid was there.
"Sorry for surprising you," Mancer dicho with a small chuckle. "I knew that tu were asleep, o almost asleep, but I didn't think I would surprise tu like that if I woke tu up. I apologize."
"Oh, I'm not angry at all really; it just surprised me," Kurayami dicho as he released a yawn. He stretched his arms up and released yet another yawn. "Where have tu been anyway? It's gotten really late, and Finale was actually getting just a tad bit worried. I told him that he shouldn't be worried, but what I was saying wasn't helping."
"I've been gone all day, I know. And I'm sorry," Mancer dicho with a small sigh. "I've just had a lot of things that I needed to take care of in Freedom City, and then I was discussing with Kyle about maybe training with him some more. But, I didn't get to because I had to go meet with... Ah, well, I'm sure tu know who I was meeting with."
"Meeting with your little segundo eye?" Kurayami asked with a smirk. "Has he found out anything about what's going on with the gang?"
"Not that I know of... He hasn't reported anything yet," Mancer dicho with a small sigh. "Then again, I can't blame him. The gang is obviously dangerous and a threat, and he's also trying to fit in. He doesn't seem to be having much luck with the fitting in part, especially because of what he looks like, but he's told me that he's trying his best. He also dicho that he's been caught up in going to school, so that's also hindering him as well."
"Is he having so much trouble because he looks like..." Kurayami started to speak, but he stopped himself when Mancer just simply nodded his head to answer the pregunta that he apparently knew Kurayami was asking.
"Yes, that's why. I was thinking that perhaps I can help him with that if it comes down to him not being able to gain their trust himself," Mancer said. He turned his head towards a large, winding staircase in the middle of the room that lead to a higher floor in the house. "Where is Finale, anyway? Did he go on to bed? I know that it's quite late."
"I think he's still awake, but I'm not sure. I do believe that he is in his bedroom, however, o at least he was," Kurayami replied.
"Mancer? Are tu home?" A slightly high-pitched male's voice asked from up the stairs. The voice sounded quite young, almost as if the male was somewhere in his teenage years.
"I've been asked that a few times now," Mancer replied with a chuckle. "But, yes, I am. Were tu getting ready for bed, Finale?"
"Well, I was in my room, but I decided to come see what was going on when I heard everyone start talking," The voice replied. The voice was revealed to belong to a male silver-white zorro, fox with many golden yellow tatuajes and stripes lining his arms and legs. He also had golden stripes running across his tail, and his eyes are a golden color. His pupils were snake slits as well. "I'm glad you're home! I was getting worried!"
"Yes, Kurayami already told me that, Finale," Mancer dicho with a nod of his head. "I already apologized to Kurayami for being so late, and I'm sorry as well. I've just been busy with the new student, and meeting with my little assistant."
"It's okay, Mancer... I was getting worried," Finale said. "But I do forgive you. I can understand that tu were busy."
Mancer simply nodded his head at Finale, pausing for a moment to try to think of what to say next. "...So, has anything happened while I was gone?"
"Not that I can really think of... Nothing different out of what's been happening lately, I suppose," Kurayami said.
"I can't think of anything special that's been happening either," Finale added.
"I can't think of anything either," Shannon said. She turned her head slightly to look at a nearby clock. "And I should probably be going soon, boys. It's getting fairly late."
"You're leaving, Shannon?" Finale asked, turning his head to look at the cat girl.
"Yes, I believe I will. I need sleep as much as tu three do," Shannon dicho as she began walking towards the front door of the home. "It was great to spend some time with all of you. You're all great friends and neighbors."
"You're a great friend and neighbor too, Shannon!" Finale called in a happy voice. "Be careful on your way home!"
"I will, Finale! Thank you!" Shannon called as she started walking out of the front door. She also dicho her goodbyes to Kurayami and Mancer, and then she walked out of the house, closing the door behind her.
"Are tu going to head to cama now?" Kurayami asked as he turned to face Mancer once Shannon was gone.
"I probably will soon," Mancer dicho with a small nod of his head. His ears stood up slowly once his phone suddenly started ringing, indicating he was getting a phone call. "Who in the world would be calling me at this hour?"
"Someone is actually calling tu when it's this late?" Kurayami asked in confusion. He watched as Mancer brought his phone out of his pocket and looked at who was calling.
"Well, whoever's calling, it's not a number that's in my contacts list," Mancer dicho as he observed the number on the screen of the ringing phone. "I think I'm going to go answer this, though. It could be one of the Guards calling... I don't know why they would be calling on my personal cell, though."
"Well, while tu go answer that call, I'm going to go get ready for bed. See tu in a bit," Kurayami dicho as he stood up from where he was sitting. He started off towards the large staircase, noticing that Finale seemed to have already gone up the stairs to his room.
Mancer quickly walked to the front door of the house and walked outside, closing the door behind him so he could have privacy during his phone call.
.........................................
Everything had fallen silent o at least fairly silent in the Waktini house, as Kyle, his siblings and his parents had gone to cama once it had gotten later. Everything didn't silent for a long time, however, due to the fact that Kyle woke up after not too much sleeping.
Kyle turned over and lie in his bed, attempting to fall back asleep. However, no matter which way he turned o which way he laid, he felt like he just couldn't get himself to fall back asleep. He eventually gave up on the idea of sleeping, and sat up in his bed. He then began to try to figure out what he could do to try to help himself tire out and go back to sleep. "Now what can I do...?" He asked himself under his breath.
Kyle turned his head, looking out across his room, attempting to find anything that would help him tire out, and would be silent. He looked around at everything that he had in his room, trying to decide what would be the quietest and the best thing to entertain himself and tire him out. He eventually decided to sit down and write in his notebook some more. He wrote on his stories for a short while until an idea came to him; he decided to write down what he knew so far about all the people he had been meeting recently. He decided to write down what he knew so far about the Dark Horses, Trenton, this Tempus person he had been told about, the Rasoul Embodiments... and Mancer.
"Dark Horses- A new gang in town run por a person named Vice. The members seem to be Vice, a bat named Devin, a lobo named Astra, a hedgehog named Sniper, a cat named Willow, and some kind of zorro, fox o alien zorro, fox named Azarika. They seem to have quite a few gadgets that I don't believe I've ever really seen before," Kyle was lectura what he was escritura out loud under his breath, simply just to help him process what he was escritura and what he thought about these people in his mind.
"Trenton- He looks a lot like Devin in some ways... In some ways I even wonder if he really is Devin o not. He seems a lot like he is Devin, but then a part of me wants to think that it's a case of mistaken identity on my part and that he's just another person just like me o someone else. I do think it would be a good idea to maybe try to get to know him better, maybe. Maybe with Mancer por my side... maybe. He seems like he could be... interesting, if he isn't Devin."
"Tempus- ...Some kind of guy that Mancer seemed to know about. Mancer thinks that Tempus is controlling his oldest brother, and I really want to help Mancer with that at some point if that's the case here. ...Might have to ask Mancer a bit más about this guy."
"Rasoul Embodiments- So far I believe I've been told that there's four Rasoul Embodiments, but I believe that Mancer has told me that Tempus is also called the Fallen Embodiment. Mancer has mentioned the Alpha, the Omega, Echilon, and one called... the Finale, I believe. I'll have to ask Mancer some más about these people as well, I think... I can't remember much of what was dicho to me about these people."
"Mancer- He seems to know quite a bit about Rasoul Energy, and he seems to know quite a bit about who the Rasoul Embodiments are. He also seems to know about Tempus, especially since he thinks Tempus is controlling the oldest out of his three brothers. ...I'll have to ask Mancer about training again sometime. I'm curious to see what all he has to offer to me as far as learning how to use my powers. He also dicho something about taking me to a place called the Rasoul Dimension, and I'm really excited to see what that is like."
Kyle sat at his escritorio for a long time, trying to think of anything else that he could write about these subjects. The longer he sat the más and más he realized that he was beginning to get sleepy again. Deciding that he should quit escritura for the night, he just climbed back into his cama and got into a comfortable position, attempting to go back to sleep. Sure enough, it didn't take very much time at all before Kyle had drifted off into a deep sleep.
Kyle was awoken in the morning por the sounds of someone knocking on his bedroom door. He released a grunt, slowly turning over so he could have a view of the door. "...It's open..." Kyle called in a groggy, still sleepy voice. He narrowed his eyes once he heard the sound of the bedroom door opening, attempting to focus on the blurry figure that had just walked into the room.
"Kyle," A fairly serious, heavy voice spoke in a fairly quick voice. Mancer. Kyle didn't have to be fully awake to recognize the serious voice belonged to the helmeted hybrid. Although, Mancer's quick tone of voice did seem a bit different than what he normally sounded like.
"Mancer...?" Kyle slowly set up, still attempting to focus on the black and red hybrid as he walked closer to the bed. Kyle rubbed his hand against his forehead slightly, feeling like he had a bit of a headache; perhaps from not getting a full sleep since he had woken up and then gone back to sleep. "...Is something wrong...?"
"Just... Nothing. Nothing is wrong," Mancer replied flatly, almost appearing as if something was bothering him on his mind. "I just came to see tu because I want to speak with you."
"Are tu sure nothing's wrong, Mancer...?" Kyle asked as he rubbed his eyes gently, slowly beginning to feel like he was becoming más awake and aware. "Your tone of voice sounds like something has tu agitated..."
Mancer stayed silent for a short time, almost as if trying to think over what to say to Kyle. "I... I just... There's just some things going on in my life right now. No reason to drag tu into my personal problems," He said, almost as if trying to change the subject quickly with his segundo sentence.
"You don't have to change the subject, tu know," Kyle dicho as turned his head to look at Mancer. Mancer's eyes appeared to have a rather nervous look in them, as Kyle could see them through the visor in Mancer's helmet. "I'm willing to listen if tu have something that tu really need to tell me. I'll listen to your problems."
"It's... It's just really nothing too important, o at least it's not too important to you. It's not really going to affect your life in any way, o at least I don't believe it would," Mancer dicho as his eyes and voice slowly began going back to their normal look and tone. "But, I still would like to talk to you, tu know."
"...Oh, right... What did tu want to talk about...?" Kyle asked in curiosity.
"I wanted to tell tu that I feel like we need to resume your training soon. It's not helping to be putting it off," Mancer dicho in a slightly flat tone. "I understand that a lot was going on lately, and I understand that all of those things with Ruby and I2 were going on, but now that everything seems to have calmed down at least somewhat, I believe it would be a good idea to resume the training."
"You think it would be a good idea to get back to training...?" Kyle asked as he climbed out of his bed. He was wearing a white t-shirt and long black shorts, which is one of the outfits that he wore as pajamas, and sometimes for a normal outfit during the day.
"Yes, as soon as you're able," Mancer dicho in a flat tone. "I feel like I need to be a better teacher and at least teach tu a little something today so we make some más progress."
"...Is there any reason why tu suddenly changed on the training ideas?" Kyle asked just simply out of curiosity as he started digging through his closet for some clean clothes to change into.
"...I... I just wound up talking to a few people. I talked to someone over the phone, and then I talked to a few other people I know who know that I'm training you, and they thought it would be a good idea to try to speed up your training before Vice... o even Tempus... decides to make some kind of large move," Mancer said.
"...True, well I guess Vice hasn't been doing anything," Kyle said. He walked into a side bathroom in his room to change into his clothes, though he still wanted to continue the conversation between Mancer.
"But he might soon, o at least that's what I'm afraid," Mancer dicho as he began walking towards the bedroom door. "Now, I'll be waiting for tu downstairs while tu change clothes."
"Alright, give me a moment," Kyle called as he heard Mancer walk out of the room. He quickly got changed into his normal outfit of a white t-shirt and blue jeans, and then he walked out of the room to go meet Mancer downstairs. He walked through the upper hallway and then down the stairs, looking around for Mancer. He couldn't seem to find Mancer in the living room anywhere, however. "Where in the world could he have gone so quickly?" Kyle just asked himself out loud out of surprise.
"I'm in the kitchen!" Mancer's voice called from the kitchen.
"Yes, he's in here, Kyle. Good morning, por the way!" Kushina's voice called from the cocina almost immediately after Mancer's voice was heard.
"Good morning, Mom!" Kyle called with a smile as he walked towards the kitchen. As soon as he walked into the kitchen, the smell of fresh, warm panqueques, tortitas flew into his nose as he took a deep breath. "Mmm, I smell pancakes!"
"Yes, tu can smell pancakes," Jacob dicho with a small laugh. He was standing near the cocina stove with Kushina, helping his wife make panqueques, tortitas for breakfast. "Do tu want something to eat before tu go out with Mancer, Kyle? He was telling us about how he was going to help tu with your power training today."
"Oh, yeah, he wants to work on the training stuff today," Kyle dicho as he walked over to the cocina table. "And, yeah, I would like some pancakes, please!"
"Coming right up," Jacob dicho with a smile. He turned his head slightly to look over his shoulder, noticing that Mancer was standing against the muro in silence. "Would tu like something, Mancer?"
"You're asking me if I'd like something?" Mancer asked in slight surprise as he turned his head to look at Jacob.
"We don't mind if you'd like something to eat, Mancer," Kushina dicho as she also turned her head to look at Mancer. "Do tu want a pancake o two?"
"Oh, well... um..." Mancer was quite surprised por the sudden offer for a breakfast. But, he was very happy por the offer, however. "That... That actually would be nice. Do I need to fix a plate myself?"
"I can fix tu something, Mancer. tu don't have to worry about it," Jacob dicho with a nod of his head. "You can go ahead and take a asiento at the mesa, tabla if you'd like."
"Thank you, Mr. Waktini," Mancer dicho with a nod and a small smile underneath his helmet. He walked over to the cocina mesa, tabla and sat down siguiente to Kyle, turning his head to look at the golden yellow hedgehog. "Hello, Kyle."
"Hello, Mancer," Kyle greeted. "You're going to eat something too?"
"Yes, apparently so," Mancer dicho with a nod of his head. "I'm quite grateful for that, considering I didn't get any breakfast for myself before I came here to your house. I guess I was in too much of a rush."
After a quick, small breakfast, Kyle and Mancer had both moved outside to the backyard to work on Rasoul training again. Mancer had taken a asiento on the back porch of the house to watch Kyle's progress. Kyle stood in the middle of the backyard, preparing to start using his Rasoul powers.
"So, what do I start with?" Kyle asked Mancer as his black misty power of Rasoul energy began forming around his body. "Do tu want me to go back to working with my projectile attack?"
"Actually, I think you've pretty much got the projectile attack figured out," Mancer dicho as he slowly began to stand up from where he was sitting. "I had an idea to teach tu another attack that I had in mind."
"Another attack?" Kyle asked in curiosity, wondering what Mancer was going to say. "What kind of attack?"
"Do tu remember when tu had to *fight I2 and Ruby (*Chapter 7*)? Do tu remember how your arms turned into blades?" Mancer asked.
"Yeah, I believe I remember that..." Kyle dicho as he looked down. "I have no idea how I did that, though."
"Well, I'm going to teach tu how to do that on your own, since you've pretty much gotten the projectile attack down," Mancer said. "Do tu think tu can deal with moving on to the blade attack?"
"I think I can... How do I use the blade attack?" Kyle asked, watching as Mancer walked closer to him.
"I'm going to mostrar you," Mancer replied as he walked up siguiente to Kyle. "Are tu okay with that?"
"You're going to mostrar me, Mancer?" Kyle asked in a slightly surprised voice. He was curious to see what Mancer could do with his own powers, due to the fact that Mancer hadn't used his powers that much.
"Yes, I just dicho that," Mancer replied with a slightly flat tone in his voice at Kyle's question. "Are tu going to pay attention?"
"I'll try my best to pay attention," Kyle dicho as he stepped back from Mancer. He narrowed his eyes, preparing to watch what Mancer was about to teach him.
"Are tu sure you're paying attention?" Mancer questioned, though he seemed almost like he was stalling for a moment.
"Yes, I'm paying attention," Kyle replied, tilting his head to the side slightly. "I already dicho that, Mancer..." He didn't really notice that Mancer seemed to be almost stalling.
"I know tu already dicho that, I was just making sure," Mancer dicho with a nod of his head. His eyes moved to the side slightly, though it was somewhat hard to tell due to the casco he was wearing.
Kyle started to tell Mancer that he could start with the demonstration already, but he was interrupted quickly por the sound of a loud police siren wailing in the distance. Kyle's ears immediately stood up at the sound of the police siren as he turned his head towards where the sound was coming from.
"A police siren?" Mancer turned his head towards the sound in confusion, noticing that Kyle seemed to be stepping adelante, hacia adelante slightly out of the corner of his eyes. "And where are tu going?"
"I'm going to go see what's causing that! If it's a villain o one of the Dark caballos up to something, they need to be stopped!" Kyle replied. He quickly began making his way across the backyard, heading towards the sidewalks in front of his house; he was quickly followed por Mancer.
"What do tu think could be happening?" Mancer asked Kyle as he followed closely beside the yellow hedgehog.
"I don't know, all I know is that something is going on!" Kyle said, continuing to make his way out to the sidewalks. Upon getting to the sidewalk, he quickly looked around, searching for any signs of anybody who could be in the area.
"See anything?" Mancer asked as he ran up beside Kyle. He looked around quickly with an intent look in his eyes, also appearing to be searching.
"Not yet," Kyle replied, looking around. He could still hear the police siren in the distance. His ears stood up on end when he heard the sound of running footsteps, appearing to be coming closer to his location. "Mancer! Do tu hear that?" Kyle asked as he quickly prepared himself to try to catch who was running towards him if it was a villain o criminal of some sort.
"Do I hear what?" The black and red hybrid questioned, appearing to not have heard the footsteps. He also seemed to be searching the area, though he seemed to be searching the opposite direction that Kyle was looking in.
"Are tu searching that direction? I hear footsteps coming from my direction!" Kyle informed Mancer, still preparing to face whoever o whatever might be coming their way.
"From your direction?" Mancer questioned as he turned towards Kyle. He looked in the direction that Kyle was looking in, attempting to see if he could see anything. "...Oh, yeah, I hear the footsteps now..."
Kyle and Mancer both prepared to face whatever was coming their way, but they somewhat weren't prepared por what actually did come their way due to the fact that it came por so quickly.
I was breathing deeply at the time from my running " Stop following me Marcos", i screamed at him. Rachel's weakness is Dark magic, therefore, Sonic can erect a barrier around Rachel to protect her from the Dark magic in the atmosphere around them. (this cant, however, protect her from Dark energy directed at her por an attack)
Reason #2:
The only thing that Sonic can't do, is swim, henceforth, Rachel, being part mermaid, can work with sonic when forced into an aquatic environment.
