Okay so I’ve made quite a few adoptable-character ideas, mostly roleplays.
In the adoptable main questions, tu simply go through the process of making an identity, o a banshee-mobian, which would later be helped along por around three guides I made (no I don’t know the specific number. Whoopdeedoo.). This would help make the characters feel más like they were yours, and that tu had a lot of impute.
In the roleplay adoptable-answers, the character would appear in some situation that tu had control over (you controlled where, when, who would be there, what the danger level would be, and in some cases gender and age.). From there I’d roleplay as the adoptable until a set time where the characters were familiarized enough to be let go as YOUR character. And in truth, I originally didn’t want to do this idea, but I ended up having to when the original adoptable idea died EVER so quickly (the roleplays were quite popular.) This type of adoptable format allowed an easy way to make the character, as I would be providing most of the backstory, personality, appearance, and other perfil fill-ins.
So what am I escritura this for? Well there’s some problems.
When I give away a character, I expect it to be used, and NOT just to be on hold till I make any Identity Wars roleplays/forums (or to be used in the fanfiction) IF remembered at all. Now I haven’t been on all the current and past roleplays since I started Identities, and Banshee-Mobians, but I haven’t see them used at all and well… Here’s the lista of problems
1. I have only seen people use them when roleplaying with me. Is this to make me feel less bad that tu don’t actually like the character, o care about the character, because if so, it doesn’t. IF tu DON’T WANT IT, DON’T ANSWER THE ROLEPLAY. IF tu DON’T WANT IT DON’T HAVE THE CHARACTER. I know I made the request of doing this, but DON’T do it just because it’s there.
2. NEVER USED IN FANFICTION EVER! EVER! EVER! o roleplays for that matter. NO ONE has mentioned the characters dado to them, o used them in roleplays o fanfictions at any time (except when it’s me they’re roleplaying with of course/ o if it’s an origin story, which only happened maybe twice and was very short.).
3. CANON! (Meaning in sonic fan characters, not Canon-Sonic-Official characters) MOST ANNOYING TRAIT HERE! SUMS IT ALL UP! I don’t like the non-usage, I don’t like just using them when I’m around, but the thing that just ticks me off the most is how NON-CANON PEOPLE MAKE THE CHARACTERS! (Note will be naming a few people. If you’re offended, think of it this way, I’M OFFENDED) So I’ll start with something I HOPE isn’t what I think. I recently gave away an identity named Snow to SonicKing, and I recently found out that in his canon-fanfiction characters, his character is actually paired with Two Vixens (not going to go into that relationship because this rant is not for that.) Now if I’m just mistaken, and Echo has had the twins replaced por Snow (I know that sounds cruel), o SOMETHING that will prove me wrong for thinking that that’s wrong, then I apologize ahead of time. IF there’s something I’m not seeing here, ignore this, SonicKing, you’ve done nothing wrong.
NOW TO SOMETHING I KNOW WAS WRONG.
Ultrax. So tu guys know that he has his character Ultra paired up with at least three different cross-overs, and guess what not only is that confusing and extremely canon-destroying, but it turns out that NONE OF THEM WERE CANON. I’ve seen other people roleplay with other people saying “Sorry Cyber, but I’m with Ultra now.” (In the Accidental kiss rp if tu want to check. No, I’m not trying to make CyberEchidna o Silveranime look bad here.) But he explained to me that he actually planned to have Ultra get back together with his past girlfriend (canon and his) after a while anyway. I’d go on about that, but this isn’t mainly about Ultra’s relationships, so I’ll get to the point now. I made an identity named Trina, Ultra got Trina as a love-interest, and it’s the same as what happened to the others.
So I hope I wasn’t beating around the bush, but here’s the point, and if it sounds whiney, sorry.
I gave tu characters so tu could use them. I didn’t just make the roleplays to have fun (that was part of it, but certainly not the main reason). I don’t care how uninteresting they seem, o how much tu can’t find a job for them, and certainly not because tu don’t know enough info about them (I MADE GUIDES! READ THEM! o ASK! I’VE dicho THIS SO MANY TIMES!).
If they aren’t…
~In fanfictions
~In roleplays (THAT tu HAVE MADE WHERE tu USE THEM WITH PEOPLE OTHER THAN ME)
~In other anything that involves people hearing tu say something that lets them know “This is my character”
DE-

THEM.
You’ve wasted my time, my efforts, my patience, and my imagination. I don’t give detailed profiles, drawings (THE DRAWINGS!!!!!!!), and scenarios to see them dusting on a shelf o gone down the drain.
If tu actually care about the characters, I want to see at least one of tu make a roleplay involving them, which I myself will not answer (at least not immediately.) I don’t care how little tu know, as long as tu just try.
To those who have recently gotten characters, I do not aim this at tu (unless tu already showed them not to be canon).
To those who have the characters, do not cast them off as non-canon, and/or simply have to wait to have them in a fanfiction, this is not aimed at tu either.
A special shout out goes specifically to Mephiles97, as she has not used Ruby o I2 yet in anything, but will not be aimed at either because her fanfiction has just started and it is up to her when the characters appear. (In other words, tu didn’t do anything wrong, so please don’t feel bad.)
I’m sorry for everyone who is offended, but I am tired of just standing por while the characters I worked on do nothing.
I’ll finish with this
