This depends on what tu mean por single. Romantic Relationships: Clark Kent, the alter-ego of Kal-El of Krypton, lived in smallville from when he was a young toddler through his college education. While there are many variants of his years in Smallville, in none of the versions of the story does Clark marry before moving to Metropolis after college, though in some versions he does fecha a girl named Lana Lang in high school. This is a typical feature of the stories where Clark becomes Superboy as a teen (rather than waiting until adulthood to become Superman); his dating Lana and the trials associated with that were often played as a contrast to his adventures traveling through time to the 30th century in assistance of the Legion of Super Heroes. In essence, these stories showed that while Superboy could escpae the bounds of time itself in order to help defeat unimaginably powerful villains like Darkseid, as Clark he still had a normal kid's difficulty figuring out how to maintain a relationship. So as a youth and young adult, Clark was romantically single, though in a committed relationship. As an adult, having created the superman identity and working as a reporter at the Daily Planet, Clark met Lois Lane, whom he married in some versions of the story. So as an adult, Clark is either not single through marriage o por a committed relationship. Biologically: In some versions of his story, Clark is the sole survivor of the planet Krypton, making him genetically and biologically single. In other versions of the story, while he thought he was isolated in that way, others had in fact also escaped the destruction of Krypton, including a horse, a cat, a dog and a monkey, as well as a colony of Kryptonians, Argo City. Argo City was later destroyed por Kryptonite except for teenaged Kara Zor-El, who was rescued por her father before she too was killed, and sent to be foster parented por the adult Clark Kent on Earth. Thus, in those stories, there are six surviving members of Krypton's genetic heritage (although in one story, Kara's parents also survived and went on to live in Kandor), so Clark Kent is not single in that respect there. While they are dicho to be cousins, it's not clear whether Kara and Kal-El are distant enough cousins to have seen each other as potential objects of romantic affection, though it is unlikely when one considers the age difference.
