severus snape Pregunta

If tu could ask JK one pregunta about Severus, what would it be?

I, personally, would ask if he ever blamed his mother, o was angry with his mother, for staying with his father.

Harry Potter Wiki says that she was at least until 2008, and may have been beyond that.

If she ever toyed with the idea for the story of Harry finding out the truth before Severus' death so they could have had a little time to know each other. (at least for Severus to have a few days of being appreciated for who he really was instead of being alone)

Also with my re-reading the HBP I was reminded of the curse of the DADA position. Was she following that story line, if so why couldn't he have been the only one to dodger it?

I would ask her why did tu choose to make Severus the most complex character (in my opinion) and why she gave him such an important role in the life of the Potters.

I would ask her if she felt the same way about him, like some of us on here do. If she thought he was truly the hero of the story and if it wasn't for him, none of what went down could have been possible.

I would ask her about a theory of mine : Did Dumbledore compel Severus to make an Unbreakable Vow with him, to ensure his loyalty ? (You know, right after Severus went to see him about the prophecy and the threat to Lily Evans Potter.) If yes, who was their Bonder ? (OK, that makes 2 questions... LOL)

I support that theory as I'm always moved when Dumbledore replied to Harry : "I trust Professor Snape completely", as if the same Professor had pledged his loyalty with his own life. Like in an Unbreakable Vow. Sounds plausible in my opinion. I use it in my fanfics, whenever applicable.

I'd probably ask if Severus had any feelings of friendship for anyone other than Lily. He deserves to have a friend, someone who cares. And when I say friends, I mean, friends, not fellow Death Eaters.

Why his patronus became a deer and not a stag. Did that mean he only really loved her as a friend? o is this just wishful thinking on my part because I hate the SS/LE pairing?

The form of one's patronus can indicate the caster's loyalty. After tonks and Lupin fell in love, Tonks' patronus took the form of a lobo to indicate their bond. James Potter's patronus, as we all know, was a stag, Harry identified más strongly with his father, so his patronus took that form. Severus loved Lily so deeply that his patronus took the form of hers.

I read an interview some time agao where rowling dicho Lily's and James' patronuses were a deer and a ciervo, despedidas de soltero respectively because they loved eachother. So was just wondering about the relevance of the fact that it didn't change into a stag.

Good question. After a great deal of thought, and a great deal of reading, I realized today what I would ask JKR.

What año at Hogwarts was Severus when his mother died, and was his father responsible for it?

No, my pregunta isn't baseless; there's a hint in one of the novels. I won't say which one o what the hint is. But it's there.

If I thought I could handle the answer, I'd ask her how physically abusive Tobias was to Severus when he was a child. Physical abuse suffered in childhood leaves mental and emotional scars that last forever. Tobias was a Muggle and clearly one of the worst kind; Eileen was a witch abused por him; this is what Severus saw every día throughout his vital "formative years". That would certainly be one of the reasons why he is such an angry man.

Hm.. interesting. From what was shown, Tobias was definietly capable of having a fit of rage big enough to fatally harm his wife.

@snowwhite2: As I said, I'm not saying. It's not spelled out at all, it's a hint she dropped, like she was doing all along about him. I could be totally wrong, but I wouldn't be the only one to interpret the hint to mean this. I'm not telling where it is, because I feel this is something tu have to find on your own. I happened on it por accident myself.

Why did tu make Snape where he thinks that he should be forgiven for being a death eater and killing innocent people and being the reason for many people's deaths, but he can't forgive James Potter and Sirius Black for a school yard rivalry? I understand that it was over Lily but really why couldn't he just get over it? Oh and this isn't a pregunta but the only reason Dumbledore likes Snape on my opinion is because they are so much like each other; both were evil then turn good because of love.
