Heroine999 I feel you.When I was 13 (I'm 14) that I was how I felt.I still feel that why because age is truly just a number.I believe there's a war on all ages.People are so blind about age.Age doesn't determine intelligence,ignorance,behavior,feelings,etc.I hope one day people relies that.

animelol i know how u feel. im not even 13 yet. and can u imagine? please nobody on here tell me to get off... one time, i actually yelled out my age on a site, people started cursing at me. U know how THAT made me feel? YAH, mad and really sad. I cried and when my parents asked me what was going on, id just go to my friends house,talk with her, and pretend i was really really sad because we were watching a sad movie about this girl who was getting cyber bullied really badly. today i dont even like to go on that site anymore. Can u believe it? im younger than thirteen and they were cursing at me! i mean, same here, my friend had to wear make up for a party for girl scouts! She said she hated it and i just feel so bad for you. Oh yeah, and if u want to know my age, im 10 and i dont care

Jessikaroo You're relatively lucky actually. I've lived in two cities, and lived in many areas. I've lived in upper class areas, and ghettos, and everywhere in between. The reality of it is 13 year olds, like any other age group, are diverse. The sad fact is because of the influence of the media, the percentage of young people dipping into things like sex, drugs and general trampiness is growing. Statistically, it is. When I was 13, my classmates were drinking, smoking pot and dating. Some had had sex, a couple had even run away from home in the past. Keep in mind this was a middle class area. I went to a nice school with nice parents living in the area. Not that I was, and i never have tried drugs or alcohol even though my mother respects my need as a young person to exercise my own judgement. I think it's parents faults honestly. they drive their children to want to do these things on a psychological level. But seriously, you're lucky. Then again, I find on sites like this 13 year olds and such do tend to be the "better eggs" than the general population.

candycake5320 yh i dont see whats wrong with 13 year olds, im not 13 yet but seriously they're only 1 year apart from 12 year old children. have u seen the stupid parenting sites! 13 year olds are just the same as any other children i mean u gotta cut them some slack, most of the junk they say about 13 year olds arent true

snowwolf2000 I'm 13 but I'm turning 14 in a few weeks, I don't do any of these things and I don't want to do any of them. Smoking and Drinking is bad for you. I don't want to get lung cancer when I'm 21. I don't know if any of the other people in my grade do this, but I highly doubt they do. I hate how people view 13 year olds today. No one bats an eye when adults do this stuff, But everybody freaks out when one 13 does this and automaticly think that all 13 year olds now a days do this and that our generation is messed up. Thank you for posting this, Someone really needed to speak up about this kind of stuff.
