I thought this was going to be one of the most exciting events in my entire life but, it was the opposite. All my life I wanted to be a singer. I thought I would never get the opportunity to work out my vocals. But one day, it all happened… “Oooo, what’s this?” I dicho as I looked at a commercial on T.V. The commercial said, “Ever dreamed of becoming a singer? Now’s your chance!!! Go to www.countrycanadasinging.ca. If tu send us an E-mail, We might actually sign tu up to be a singer!!! So, again that’s, www.countrycanadasinging.ca if tu want to sign up!!!!!” “I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A SINGER!!!!” I gasped. My mother gasped as well, then she said, “Now’s your chance!!!!! Go on!!!!!” "Yeah go!!!" My Bro said. I never thought he could be so supportive. Maybe this was a dream. Then I dicho to myself, Oh whatever!! I'm going to be a singer!!! I then went to the computer room as fast as my legs could carry me. I went to my E-mail and wrote them a letter saying that I wanted to become a singer. When the commercial was shooting, it showed their E-mail on the screen. I am a good rememberer. Their E-mail was “singforus@hotmail.com”. I was so excited. As soon as a couple of days passed, I got a reply. It said,
“Dear Alice,
We are glad tu contacted us. We will listen to tu sing. If tu are good enough we will make tu into a singer. The place tu sing at is L.A. Practice, do we have a deal??? If the answer is yes, Splendid! Can’t wait for tu to sing for us.

Then I thought, “Wait a minute,” There were two preguntas I had to ask myself. One, What about the website? Two, What am I going to sing?
I thought I should answer one first since it was más important. I dicho to myself, “There has to be a reason why I can just send them an E-mail and then they’ll reply back saying that I can sing even though I haven’t even been to their website. Is there even a website at all? Are they trying to trick me? Aw what am I saying??? It could obviously be that they thought I’ve already been there. Might as well.” Then, I thought about what I was going to sing. I thought, “Let’s see, there’s a billion songs out there, and I only know about a million of them. What am I going to sing??? I know!!! Miley Cyrus!!! The climb!!! It’s a perfect song!!!! I’m going to practice it as soon as I have visited there site!!” So then, I typed, www.countrycanadasinging.ca and their website appeared. It looked like it had everything we needed!!! In fact, I could’ve just practiced there!!! There was even Karaoke!! So then I typed, “The Climb Miley Cyrus” And they didn’t have it!!! I then thought, “Huh??? What the??? Oh well, I might as well check to see if they have a lista of songs we can actually sing” I checked around the website, looking for a lista of songs they had. I then saw a tab at the top. It said, “List” I thought, “Oh!! There it is!!!!!!!!” I clicked on it and I saw a huge list. A lista of songs!!! I thought, “Jackpot!” I checked the list. There were about a hundred songs on there that I knew, and cherished. There was a song on there and it said, “What if: Kate Winslet” I thought that was a perfect song. I clicked on it and I listened to it. I thought right!!!
I then went to the, “Karaoke” tab. I practiced and practiced!!!!!! I always practiced until my throat got sore. Then I started practicing again when it stopped. I always practiced. Practiced before school, after school, anytime of the day!!!! One day…….. It arrived… “HUUUh” I yawned. I then looked at the calendar. I then smiled. “YAHOO!!! I’M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed. My mom then came to my room. “What’s all the ruckus???” She asked. “TODAY’S THE DAY!!! TODAY’S THE DAY!!!!!!” I screamed again. “Huh?” She checked the calendar. “Wow. Today’s the día we go to L.A.” she said. “YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed for the segundo time. “So, LET’S WAKE EVERYONE UP!!!! I’ll get dad, tu get Jasper.” I told her. “But, Alice.” She told me. But, I was already in her room ready to wake dad up. She then came in the door and told me… “Alice, it’s not even time to go yet.” She explained to me. “Yeah, but, I want everybody to be awake and supporting me!!! tu know what they say, the más the merrier!” I explained to her. “Fine. Wake him up.” She told me. “YEAH!!!!” I said. “Dad… WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I shouted. “HUH? WHAT???” he asked. “Okay! He’s awake!!! Go wake Jasper up!!! No wait! Let me do the honors” I said. I walked up to my room, grabbed a plastic araña (My brother Jasper HATES spiders), went to his room, Set it on his almohada beside him, and said, “Jasper, I think tu have a little company” “Huh? AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!” “YES!!” I whispered to myself. “Revenge is SWEET!!!” “GRRRR. ALICE!!!!!!!” He scared me for a moment there.
