Do any of tu noticed AND can any of tu explained this?

When a guy gets upset/angry at you, the aftereffect (almost always) goes away instantly. But when a girl gets upset/angry at you, the aftereffect (almost always) LINGERS while STILL bothering tu at the same time. Do any of tu know exactly what I am talking about here? Also is this a psychological phenomenon?

In my case, an example would be my mom: When she gets upset/angry at me especially over something trivial, over trivial things/matters the aftereffect (almost always) LINGERS and at the same time STILL bothers me for a while😑😡
