Why is it that...?

Why is it that tu can go on and on on your Wii, Cellphone, Computer, libros to read, etc 'till, like, the siguiente day!
But when tu do your homework you're exhausted after thirty minutes?

I know the first things are fun and the homework isn't, but still... it's weird...
