I think Tarja has a great voice, I don't really like Anette's voice. Even if I did, she would always be in Tarja's shadow. I don't know both women personally, so I won't talk about who's kinder. I think Nightwish isn't Nightwish, without Tarja. But I guess, both the band and Tarja are happy this way.

Really talented, especially for Nightwish. Anette's voice is more appealing to me, though, but not for this type of band.

They are both amazing; Tarja has a more operatic voice while Anette's is more varied and better for singing metal. I can't really choose.

I may be confusing when I say almost all of my favorite songs are sung by Tarja, but I prefer Anette.
Her voice is definitely not what people make of it. I love both of them, but if I had to choose, it would be Anette.

Now, Anette is far above to me. I have always been a Tarja fan, and now I am a fan of both. Anette is definitely the perfect choice for a new singer, her performances , especially in 2009 are full of energy and her voice sounds amazing, listen to Ever Dream or even Sleeping Sun.
