Lucifer's Miracle Baby Twist: How Will charlotte 'Weaponize' This Discovery? 

Years ago, a miracle baby was born. And her name would be Chloe.

‘s Amenadiel dropped in the Fox drama’s midseason finale. And, Heaven knows, his mother Charlotte instantly saw opportunity in the intel.

“If we wanted to put a nice little label on Chloe, I think she is, definitely, a miracle,” co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich tells TVLine, “because she wasn’t supposed to be born.”

But God intervened, sending Amenadiel down to Earth to bless Penelope Decker’s womb and give her and husband John the child they would have been unable to conceive.

What does it mean, though, that God in doing so purposely put Chloe in his son Lucifer’s path? In short, Modrovich says it was “a good thing.”

“We try to make it always about our character’s interpretation about what God’s trying to do, instead of stating clearly, ‘This is what God was doing,\'” she explains. “The way I look at is, yeah, Lucifer is the Prince of Darkness, but if he did start off as God’s favorite son, is this a chance at redemption for him? Is this God saying, ‘Let’s see what you do with this, son’?”

grand plan, ex-wife Charlotte sees “miracle baby” Chloe as the answer to her prayers, as a means to an end — that being, reuniting her with her sons in Heaven.

When Season 2 resumes on Monday, Jan. 16, “We will definitely find out how she plans to use Chloe, right away,” the EP previews. “And since we know Mom will stop at nothing to get back her family, which includes Lucifer, she’s going to use Lucifer’s feelings against him. As long as they don’t drag out the reveal to Chloe wants really going on, I am fine with this.

Usually, I want a television couple to do the dirty. This show, I just want Chloe to finally understand that Lucifer is who he says he is!

it would be smarter to save that reveal til when chloe fully trusts lucifer’s character, that deep down he is a good person even though he acts like he is otherwise. Only then should she find out the truth.

This is a very weird show that shouldn’t work at all but it hits on all cylinders and is one of my faves.

You are so right on! Every week, I get more shocked at how it comes together, coupled with fantastic acting.

I sell my soul to the devil weekly, so that Lucifer stays this hilarious, compelling, outrageous gem of a show. So far it worked and I’m so glad for it. January 16th can’t be there soon enough.

Agreed with everyone. Was really not expecting to like this show as much as I do. It’s really fun and entertaining. Loved the music in the first season. Lots of old school hits. Never thought this show and lethal weapon would be two of my favorite shows to watch every week.

I really love this show. I’ve watched it from day one. I freaked when I heard it might not come back. I’m glad they got the rest of their season two. P.s. the phycologist is one of the best co characters I’ve seen in along time good job on Lucifer. I’m hooked
