This week, “Night” vaulted to the parte superior, arriba spot on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play chart, becoming Gaga’s twelfth consecutive number one on the chart in less than three years, the most of any artist in that span of time according to Billboard.com.
Lady Gaga has been unstoppable since “Just Dance” and “Poker Face” first took over airwaves in early 2009. Within three years, she has sold 23 million albums and 64 million singles. “Bad Romance” alone has sold nearly 10 million copies and has received 440 million YouTube views. Her sophomore album “Born This Way” has sold over 8 million copies since May, the título track of which sold over 1 million digital copies in its first five days, making it the fastest selling digital song of all time.
