Captain Sisko. Sorry ;)

Sisko is my second choice, though.
But in Sisko words 'Captain Kirk is the one and only'

actualy i think janeway is best. sure kirk killed a few klingons but janeway defeated endless numbers of hostile creatures thousands of lightyears from starfleet

I'm a Picard fan, sorry Kirk

Kirk is fantastic and very dynamic but realistically as a Captain he's not so good, sure he gets the job done but he is constantly disregarding Star Fleet protocol, it's not a very good example. As captain all the other captains are better except maybe Spock but we all know he's not a very good captain either. But as in terms of the series Kirk has to be the best because without him there is no other. However I have to say no other captain has ever been able to surpass Picard as a captain who follows the rules, is wise and has heart and still get the job done. But all the captains are great in their own way. My favourite one is the one I'm watching.

Janeway is my favorite but I do love Kirk. I love all the captains.

Maybe the others are good too, but I don't like 'cloned' series or films. I hope you know what I mean. I've barely seen something of the other series but even if I knew all the series completely and no matter how good they are, TOS stays the best and Jim Kirk, too.
