Bery Luddy > Huddy in my book, sooo... Yeah, the huddy insanity is pretty much one of the main reasons why I'm hardly around here these days. I'm not one to talk about insanity of course, given my obsession with Wilson, but I usually tend to spread the love with my obsession, with the huddies it's lately all a big hate spreading :/ But of course it's gonna be ok to bash someone/something that the majority of the people dislikes and not ok to bash someone/something most people like, it's a democracy. huddyislove I disapprove of any bashing, including Lucas. That still doesn't mean I like him. In general, fanpop users allow themselves a bit too much when it comes to subjective observing of the show. All the bashing and insults should be kept out of the threads. It's only fair to the fandom as it consists of various shipping/character loving fans.

salemslot I can see your point and your frustration but you can't see this as a tit for tat thingie, "you insult Lucas, why can't I insult 13"? because it says something about your character(not yours specifically, I'm using the word your in its plural context).I don't condone those kind of behaviours but it's a part of how people express themselves. If they don't understand that it infuriates other people, what can you do? Bitch about it? Respect is GRADUALLY EARNED and is NOT a constitutional right. If you want people to respect your opinion, use your brain in an intelligent way and not in an insulting manner. You have repeatedly said that you don't want Cuddy with House because she acts like a fangirl around him. Explain why she shouldn't be with him and should be with Lucas and don't use platitudes likes she's happy. Noone ever said democracy was the perfect regime but the less inefficient one. Big difference. The issue is how people use democracy to enforce the ideas. somuchfordepth i think the increase of the negative comments about lucas is just due to the fact that he was like an ass during the last ep. things will simmer down soon enough

pietruszka salemslot, I would like to say a lot about this stuff and explain them properly, but I simply... Can't. Because of language. On Polish forums and stuff I can explain to people better what I mean, what I can write in English is just the, I don't know, plain think and argument without argumenting (lol, that was deep) What I meant by stuff like "you insult Lucas, why can't I insult 13" was showing hypocrisy of the other side and the fact that ill all should be treated equally, and it isn't. I wouldn't call that whole thing democracy, I would call it bullying.

wendus92 @somuchfordepth I agree. To tell the truth, Lucas was acting like a psychopath in the last episode. I don't hate him, I just think he's pathetic. Another reason why everyone's bashing Lucas is the fact that's he's afterall a "2-minute" man =P Sorry, but the bashing will go on and on and on..Foreteen, Lydia, Chameron...does it ring a bell?

pietruszka it's not only about bashing. Bashing will come and bashing will go. Well, mostly is, and that's pssing off, but the worst thing is that bashing one thing is okay and everyone are cool with it, because the loudest group says so. There's a lot of opinions here and it seems that the only one is RIGHT because the rest will attack you if you say something diffrent. It should be fair - I don't offend what you like, you don't offend what I like. You're just making your opinion, without this... I don't know, tone, style, hate, you can see everywhere in topics Luddy/Huddy. I hope you know what I mean.

wendus92 I don't want to be rude or anything, but let's face it, most of House fans are Huddies...so for example if you're on House MD spot talking about how amazing is the relationship between Cuddy and Lucas of course Huddy fans aren't happy about it..it's just a matter of statistics. What if someone came to the Luddy spot and started posting articles about how they hate Lucas, would you be happy about it? I think not. It's the same thing. Seriously, no offence, I'm just giving you an example. Yeah, I know, it's annoying, but you guys have to live with it. If we were all Luddy fans, everyone would be bashing House. I personally think the main reason why we're all pissed is because the writers have been torturing us for almost 6 years and instead of House dating Cuddy we get Cuddy dating some private investigator...even Wilson would be a better choice! Why Lucas? It's a nonsense. But that's just my opinion. Again, it's a matter of statistics.

And House spot and Huddy spot is not the same thing. And I'm not that strict Luddy, you can use other examples. Huddy is the only reason why I'm Luddy. I've waited 4 years, I got it 5th year, and I disappointed. Oh, and I'm not saying about hating Huddy, just about not sharing Luddy hateness! That's the difference too. No one is forced to change opinion, just to respect anothers to make place nicer. People are leaving and it's because of you (you-bashers, not any single person). Texts like "sorry for Lucas in the pics" in Cuddy-related stuff are just mean, because most doesn't mean all. Most hate Lucas but it would be nice to respect another opinion. The same with Cuddy herself - she's not Huddy, just a part of it, even if I know that most of the people doesn't see anything more than that part (what's why I have big hopes about her episode). but I don't want bring show to much into this, and my feelings about show, because it's much more general stuff.

pietruszka It's not about hating! Nobody tells you to start loving him. It's about respect to the others, not even the character, but people with the other opinion.

misanthrope86 I just need to point out that on the Thirteen article I said that I disapproved of the bashing, and was then told that everyone could share their opinion if they wanted to, and then I said that if we were going to take that road then people cannot speak on behalf of all fans and they should at least do their bashing intelligently. I have said a number of things against bashing of Thirteen, Lucas, Hameron and everything else under the sun. The Lucas/Luddy bashing is why I have only spent about 2 minutes in the Huddy spot over the course of the last few months. The probelm with bashing is that people forget that they hate bashing when it comes time for them to bash something. Like with that Thirteen article, some Thirteen haters thought it was ok to bash Thirteen because they hate her and that is all that matters. Yet if someone bashed something that they love, all of a sudden they would be outraged that someone had the nerve to bash what they love. Hell, we actually have a Luddy spot troll who has been trolling content. That is just lame and disrespectful and I can't believe that some people would rather spend their time hating stuff rather than loving the things that they love. So you are totally right that this all comes down to respect. And unfortunately people have been having these arguments since the begining of Fanpop. Should be reason enough to prefer Luddy for some people. I would also like to add that Wilson was right on in the episode Remorse when he said "House, she was in love with you! And all she got in return was abused. For years you toyed with her emotions.", House kept humilliating Cuddy for the last 2 seasons, showing no respect for her and she kept going back to him for more. Sounds like a case of slight masochism to me. I'm not even saying that they are not in love with each other, but my feminist side cannot possibly be cool with this ship when House barely seems to have any respect for Cuddy most of the time, constantly objectifies her, and Cuddy, instead of putting him in his place like every other smart and confident woman would do, she just lets him and goes back to him for more. A lot of people might be annoyed by Cameron because of how she followed House around when she was in love with him, but the way I see it at least she didn't let him disrespect her, she didn't get stupid in her love for him. I don't like Huddy and yet I refrain myself to not bash it at every single opportunity, not because I'm timid or afraid people will get mad at me, trust me, but because it's clearly not a good idea to constantly spread the negativity that way, but most of the Huddy fans are currently doing just that and, unsurprisingly, it gets annoying.
